Myself and my new husband Declan had our,wedding at the,Glenside hotel on the 28th of March.we had a fabulous wedding planner Marie who organised our wedding for us and she was unbelievable like family to us.she could do enough more for us.the staff were so welcoming and,friendly,felt like we knew them for years.so on behalf of my husband Declan and I we would just like to say a big big thank you to Marie and Christine and they rest of the staff for a lovely memorable day that we,will never forget.thank you all so much.

Have stayed here a few times when I have been working in the area, great food and very friendly staff here - rooms are newly done with big plasma TVs. Very good photography displayed all over the hotel. Will be back.

Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner excellent. Hotel was spotless.

Rooms were basic with no drawers or information.

The glass panel over the door allowing light from the corridor into the room - very poor situation!

The staff were very friendly. The rooms were a nice size and had a nice big flat screen which is rarely seen in hotels. The dinner was amazing.

It might be just me but the bed was too hard for me and it was very warm.

The hotel was in a very good location as it was in a nice quiet location and only 5 minutes drive away from Drogheda town centre. My husband and myself also found that the hotel was well located to shopping, waterpark, beach, award winning restuarants, other towns and villages and all of Drogheda's historic history. We also found the food was excellent and well priced and very tasty. The staff in the hotel where all very friendly and made you feel very relaxed. We found the over all stay very relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you Glenside Hotel.

The coffee....... Was looking forward to what I thought was Bewleys in room after breakfast.Only to discover it was MH red label.... which I hate!

Very nice hotel but the staff were so friendly which made all the difference.

This is not really a like or a dislike,its only a comment Annemarie at reception is the main person in this hotel, only for her we wouldn't have had our breakfast, as the young girl serving just didn't seem to be able to cope, she didn't check milk,juice or cereals, Annemaire did and got anything that was running short. Annemaire also cleared the tables after the guests left. We wait ages on our breakfast, but it was very good and worth the wait.I would suggest giving Annemaire a manager's job so she could help in the smooth running of this hotel.Great value for money for a family.

The steamed up windows in the morning!double grazing please. And a wee lick of paint wouldn't do a bit of harm.

I spent 4 nights in the glenside with my daughter and 7 year old grandson. upon arrival we were greated by the professional and pleasent receptionist Eileen. we immediately felt at home and loved the idea that breakfast was served until 11am. my grandson was delighted when Eileen told him there were toys in the corridor which he was very welcome to play with. this facility proved to be an excelent way for him to meet the other children staying at this family friendy hotel. we had tickets to visit the nearby funtasia and the following morning while we ate breakfast the ever helpful Eileen was busy drawing up directions to our destination. we planned to visit tayto world during our stay which was approx half hour drive away again Eileen was able to help with the booking at a reduction and the direction. there was a smoking area outside the bar which was also close to our room and my daughter used this, the garden at the back of the hotel was a great play area for the children to play hide and seek in safety or provide a restful area for reading or using laptop having easily log on to hotel network. the evening we arrived we had a snack in the bar the food was good and again the staff were friendly as well as helpful. breakfast was as I said served until 11am the staff ever on had to take your order and have a chat without encroaching on your privacy. we had dinner on only one evening in the hotel which we all enjoyed the restaurant obviously has a very good reputation in the area ard appeared busy but relaxed. we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the glenside and I must say that this was mainly due to the great staff who were all ready to help with watever we heeded, from having our clothes dried when we got caught in heavy rain one day to filling flasks for day trips and ensuring we had good directions for our distinations. I would highly recommend this hotel only 5 mins from drogheda and bettystown.

only hanging space and one shelf for clothes - no drawers but this was only a minor inconvenience as the staff and the family friendly atomosphere more than made up for any downside to this hotel.

the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good and the room was very good and the bed very comfortable and I hope to be back again soon
