I have stayed in /dined in many hotels in Europe and the USA and I think that the staff in the Heritage were the best ever. While very busy the bar staff were nothing but helpful and good humoured. A passing staffmember(pushing a laden trolly of bottled water) heard me say that I was taking the lift while my friend opted for the stairs, stopped, took out his key card and called the lift for me. Now thats what I call service. The room was good. the food was good but it is the staff that will bring me back. booked a twin room on line and thought the confirmation of a super king was in reference to the size of room and not the bed. This took a while to sort out and we missed a swim before dinner as a result. After a day at the ploughing this would have been nice. But it was all well otherwise and got a swim in the morning |

The room was large with 2 comfortable armchairs, so many hotels have only 1! The bathroom was great with a very roomy shower & separate big bathtub with robes & slippers. The breakfast was very good too. The staff we met were friendly & helpful. |

staff were very polite and helpful at all times, facilities were excellent, We had a very relaxing stay. breakfast area understaffed, staff were doing their best. The tunnel running under the hotel to the spa/gym could do with a lick of paint. |
