Dinner at The Arlington was very nice and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

I booked a massage at the spa. Although the massage itself was really good and staff member friendly getting from my room to the spa was a mission and not a very pleasant experience, going down cold dark corridors. When I arrived at the leisure club I was taken to one changing room and from there had to climb more stairs to arrive at the spa reception. On the spa brochure it recommends that you arrive at the spa 30 minutes before treatment to enjoy the spa surroundings which I did. However when I arrived at the spa I was asked to complete a form and although there were refreshments on a table in the room was not asked if I wanted to avails of these by the many staff gathered and whispering behind the reception desk. After a few minutes I did help myself. There were no magazines so I sat there sipping my mint tea and feeling a bit awkward, given so many staff whispering in the room and me on the sofa with nothing to occupy myself. I wondered at what stage I would get this opportunity to relax and unwind before my treatment. I had seen lovely pictures of the spa on the website and saw none of this during my visit. Eventually I was introduced to my masseuse and had my treatment. Afterwards I was due to meet my husband in the pool and had to go back to the spa changing room, get dressed and go back through reception to the pool changing room get undressed and into my swimming suit to use the pool. Not ideal. Joint changing room for spa and pool needed! Not the spa experience I had so looked forward to!!!

Great time, we celebrated my Dad's 60th birthday and the staff couldn't have been friendlier to us or more helpful! Dinner at Sol Oriens was excellent and the waiters lovely.

I liked the spa facitlites, in general the staaff were very friendly and helpful. Food in Arlington restaurant was very good.

The bar food selection is limited and the quality is average. Also whilst there appears to be a lot of staff in the bar area it takes at least 5 minutes for one of them to speak to you. This area of service should be improved. All other waiting staff and reception staff were very helpful.

It was all fab loved the swimming pool so did our kids. Was disappointed we couldn't book Italian restaurant we were not aware it needed to be booke in advance

After checking out on the Sunday, I paid for the one night, dinner and a body massage for 2 so the total cost was over €500 - an expensive treat. However when we went to get our spa, we were not given access to the spa area and were told it would cost a further €25 each. We asked if this applied to us as we were hotel guests plus we were both having treatments for €80. We were then shown to the hotel pool area which didnt have bath robes or anything. This was extremely disappointing ESP as we had spent over €500 during our stay. Unfortunately it left a bad impression which was disappointing given we had enjoyed everything else and would have strongly recommended the stay. I think this is something that should not happen to another couple

The friendly welcome, the staff, the food, the complimentary newspaper, the Italian restaurant, the leisure facilities, the room, the courtesy bus to and from The Thatch pub and the Italian restaurant!! We were well looked after and had a lovely, enjoyable, restful stay!

Couldnt really fault this hotel as it was beautiful,the food in the Italian restaurant in the resort was terrific! Staff wr excellent,the bed down service In the evenings is a nice touch,ur really made feel well looked after by all the staff,great place!

The pool area wasn't what you'd call a 5 star experience,it was extremely basic plus we went with our young daughter so it wasn't really kids friendly,also the tv in the room was really old And outdated and alot of the channels didn't even work,other than that couldn't really fault the place

It was such a relaxing experience

1. we have stayed a number of times at this beautiful hotel and the staff have been fantastic especially dougie and majella both at reception. 2. breakfast buffet excellent. 3. papers always plentiful 4. still doing turn down service 5. water in room complementary 6. bar menu always good and changes 7. afternoon tea new menu - lovely 8. still serve home-made biscuits with tea/coffee

1. looking a bit grubby - suites of furniture definitely need a clean/wash/steam clean 2. lights in rooms are a bit dim even with all the lights on the room appears a little dark 3. for a 4star hotel the in room biscuits could be better 4. miss the chocolate/carmel dessert - that was to die for!! 5. rooms still a little pricey 6. why do we always have to arrive late and go early?? makes the whole one night trip so short and fast....pity

It was quiet and very comfortable

The cuisine was superb, staff very friendly and efficient and the bedroom was extremely comfortable, spacious and luxurious. I honestly couldn't find fault with anything and would have no hesitation in recommending the Heritage to family and friends.

Staff were so warm and welcoming. The hotel and Sol Oriens restaurant where we had dinner could not be faulted for both friendliness and quality. Breakfast excellent and hotel very clean and well equipped. Easily our favourite hotel in Ireland. Highly recommend it.

The warmth and comfort of the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and well-trained. The Arlington and Sol Oriens restaurants were very nice indeed. Well done to the chef in Sol Orien's!

Standard of bar food needs to be looked at - sandwiches need to reflect the hotel's star rating. More variety in hot food on bar menu too would be appreciated

It created a great atmosphere for a personal break

Everything!!!! This was my second visit - unfortunate, as I would love to visit more often. Heritage Killenard is a little piece of heaven, a real retreat. Perhaps I should keep it a secret!!!!! 2B&B&1D offer excellent value for money. Really don't intent to leave it so long before my next trip

Wedding guests were disruptive until 5am! The noise started again at 8 am.

Good facilities for families, good size family bedroom, friendly staff

Albeit the staff were courteous, required some training as service was quite slow and poor, lack of management presence within the hotel.

The staff where great, the setting was great, the food was great, it was a great place to spend our 25th weddind anniversary.

The hotel was nice and the room was comfortable.breakfast was very good the staff were pleasent.

The restraurant in the hotel was booked out so we were sent to restraurant in the golf club next door it was the worst food I can ever remember having in any place ive been and the service was not much better.

Excellent Staff and Facilities. Girl on reception extreamly helpful. Will definately return.
