Delicious food, easy parking, comfortable room
The hotel is very comfortable and welcoming and the decor really lends itself to relaxation. We were a wedding party attending the wedding in a local venue and this did not in the least affect the reception we got. The hotel catered really well to us all and the leisure facilities were great. Superbly located for trips to . The burrren and kinvara.
We were happy with everything!6(
From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent and as we were travelling with an elderly lady the couldn't do enough for us. We stayed for one night but would definitely go back again for a few nights. The food was also excellent and very fresh.
This hotel is great, there is a free parking, gym facilities, the girl at the reception was very nice.
Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Lovely quiet hotel. Spacious family room and great selection for breakfast. Highly recommended if looking for a relaxing get away :)
big, clean room pool free parking
We were following the Wild Atlantic Way and this hotel was probably our favourite. Very kind and helpful staff, food superb and atmosphere good.
Friendly staff in the bar who were very helpful.
Our room was very noisy, with deliveries made 3am
Pool & gym very modern Bed comfortable & clean
Rooms were very dated and the bathroom had not been cleaned. The radiator was covered in dust/dirt/hair and also served as a towel rack. There were only 2 small towels each and they were worn & mismatched. Hairs clearly visible in the grubby bath which I had to wash before use. The phone did not work. Breakfast which was 20 euro extra was very disappointing with juice that was off, poor service and no fresh food available at all Horrible smell of damp in the hall in the leisure centre also in the gym area. Pity as otherwise the leisure facilities were clean & modern All in all very disappointing
Food, entertainment and staff.
On Friday night a party went on till half four music very loud no sleep till after 5,
A lovely hotel, with good sized comfortable room and bathroom. Had lovely meal in bar. Very nice breakfast. Gort is a nice little town and good spot for touring Galway.
Spacious room, powerful shower, friendly staff
Room did not give telephone number to ring reception. We would have expected reception to give us the wifi password when booking in. Bathroom tiles and rungs of radiator in bathroom could do with an extra clean
We arrived late about 12 midnight and were rushing to a wedding in mulranny next day so didn't get to really see the spa as we left at 9 am next morning. Couldn't fault the rooms and breakfast was served quickly. Staff were fab
Had a good stay
Traffic a bit noisy in the morn
I really loved this hotel ,used the pool and sauna and steam room and was so relaxed leaving, will be back at every opportunity
There are no negatives
Clean room. Good bar staff. Friendly receptionist
Noise from car-park in morning. Orders for drinks and food in bar in morning very slow or not delivered at all
The hotel looked posh from the photos; when we arrived we found it to be a bit worn and shabby. There was nothing particularly "wrong" with it. This was an average holiday inn type hotel that is in need of an update.
Staff very courteous and kind, excellent spot for trips through the Burren
Lift to all floors. Good secure parking. Generous size, well equipped room. Staff could not be more helpful even with near 100% occupancy
Pool, leisure center Breakfast made to order, fresh and tasty Good enough location for Burren and Conemara visitors Friendly staff Clean rooms Value for money Playground nearby Parking
Buffet breakfast - disaster Restaurant very poor if busy with weeding, small portions poor food not worth the price, 1 hour waiting time for very poor dinner is not acceptable. Rooms Bit tired, showers can be noisy No fridge No safe
As I only stayed over night I didn't visit the Spa. The decor of The Hotel is beautiful and full of the history of Yeats and Lady Gregory. It is ideal if you are planning a visit to Coole Park and The Kiltartan Museum. I liked everything room, food etc. The only thing which
was slightly disappointing was the choice for breakfast only toast no other kind of bread and water was all flavoured but perhaps we hit a bad morning.
Really enjoyed the leisure club and spa
leisure centre accessible from inside the hotel
Friendly staff! Really nice pool!
