Location,breakfast,nice comfortable rooms
The staff and breakfast.
The noise. You could hear everything in the house. And a group of young people can in at around 3am and was yelling and laughing. It didn't seem the staff made be quite.
Betty and Brian are very nice, and their breakfast was wonderful!
Hospitality, breakfast, comfortable rooms
Located on a roundabout with lots of cars passing through but walking distance from Kilkenny
Friendliness and helpfulness of proprietors.
Carpet in bedroom.
Rooms a little small!
The location was excellent , just 10mins walk from town. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Great value for money. Would highly recommend it.
Been able to order breakfast at checkin was nice
The sausages at breakfast could have been better
Decor of the room was quite dark. It had an old fashioned feel to it
free parking easy access by car from ring road
limited choice at breakfast as no yogurt or fresh fruit triple room was dark as lighting not good beds too close together
Very nice guesthouse in Kilkenny ..good quality room and a lovely breakfast as well. Parking was good as well.About 10 minutes walk into the centre. Would stay there again . Recommended.
No problems at all .
Run by a very helpful and friendly couple. Within easy walking distance to Kilkenny town centre for sight seeing and numerous eating venues.
good breakfast, silent room. the owners advised us on where to go and have dinner and it was a very good advise. very close to Kilkenny city centre
Room was spacious for B&B, very clean, great breakfast, friendly owner
Small shower, a little distance from city center
Ample parking, nice room with a comfy bed and a good breakfast.
A little removed from the city center and at a busy intersection.
This is a charming B&B and the hosts are warm, friendly and helpful. Good location, good breakfast, comfortable room.
We were welcomed by friendly daughter who offered me a lift into town for when I was going out which I took later. I was very impressed boy that and also the fact that breakfast is cooked fresh to order.
The only complaint I would have is that men who came in at about 3.30 am were unnecessarily noisy and kept other guests from sleeping. Perhaps some notices could be put up asking for some consideration.
Very heavy duvet, room was very cold. House was noisy, other guests seemed inconsiderate of time.
Brian and Betty were friendly and helpful
The busy road and roundabout Tight busy carpark single beds pushed into a bigger bed coffee and orange juice not kept full at breakfast
Staff were friendly and helpful, gave good suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Breakfast was good, you pre ordered although with the time you wanted to eat the night before. Room was nice and a good size, bathroom and shower were tiny but clean.
Walls were paper thin, first night was good, but the second had my neighbors coming back very drunk, between the talking, laughing, fighting, crying, and puking it was impossible to sleep.
Brian was a great host. The breakfasts were fantastic. The location was a short walk into town and right next door to a nice pub! I would totally recommend The Laurels.
The value plus breakfast
Wait on taxi but not B&B fault
Rooms are clean and comfortable, ours included jetted tub. Very friendly hosts. 10 min walk to downtown restaurants and castle. Full breakfast in large room with windows viewing back yard garden. Pet dog and cat will enjoy attention if you see them.
Great room with large en-suite bathroom, hearty breakfasts and very friendly owners
