Nice room, friendly staff , excellent food. John was especially friendly and very helpful
Owner's excellent with customers and very helpful
Excellent hospitality and superb breakfast. Excellent location and provided with free parking permit.
The room was a good size and the bed was huge :). Other reviews mention the breakfast and we agree, they are very good. The staff were very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome
The shower lacked power and the t.v. signal was poor, but this did not detract from our stay
Staff make you feel at home and are really genuine
All of it , great value and friendly staff .
Rooms very comfortable Breakfast freshly cooked and as big as you want All the staff were very friendly WiFi fast and reliable Location couldn't be better Live music in the bar and other local bars Great pint of Guinness
Parking availability at front was a bit hit and miss Noisy in early hours due central location
Owners/staff were really positive and helpful Vegetarian breakfast was more creative than many in Ireland The room size and facilities were very good for the price
We were definitely treated as VIP guests by the hosts, i.e., the 3 brothers Patrck, John and Robert. They are very eager to assist their guests in their Ballina visit/Ireland travel needs as they did with helping us initiate our successful family history hunt. They provided excellent pub foods, beverages and music for locals, as well as guests. The room are very clean and well attended every day by Philomena. Lastly, their location is central and very convienient to everything in Ballina.
We can not think of one thingthat we were not 100 percent satisfied with ...
Cleanliness, location, comfort
Value, could be cheaper.
There was a very overpowering smell from the bathroom may be due To chemical cleaning substance We had To open the windows and leave the room for a few hours also while the sheets and quilts were clean the throws and cushions in the room could do with a good cleaning
Staff/ food/ service/
Hairdryer needs to be sorted/
So many good points about The Loft, the staff, very friendly and helpful. The price, for the night that we had stayed it was a very good deal, unbelievable! The rooms, very comfy and cosy, had all that we needed. Can safely say I will definitely be going back to stay there again, great great place :)
The television! Channels were coming through fuzzy, besides that's really it.
Loved the staff and it was located right in the middle of Pearse Street which is the town centre. There are several bars and restaurants close by. I came to love Rouses across the street! The breakfast is cooked to order every morning for you in the bar. The whole experience was just excellent.
Stayed here before and again was impressed with the service, staff, room and value for money. Have nothing to complain about. As my previous review waxed lyrical about the breakfast, I have to mention it was just as good the lady serving is a class A dote! There was another lady and she seemed lovely too!
Location in the city center of Ballina let us explore the city on foot, checkout various restaurants, etc. Street parking permit was handy; our car was able to be parked right in front of the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds.
We got along without an elevator, tho lugging suitcases up two flights was a chore. Anyone unable to climb stairs would have difficulty staying here.
Both staff members were very pleasant. Met one gent in the evening and another in the morning. Brief stay.
Wasn't there long enough to notice anything amiss.
Spotless Old building but clean, tidy, fresh paint, what more do you need.....Very central, Parking easy either free or paid...
It was clean, service was friendly, beds were comfy and the wifi decent. I can't fault them in any way.
Being on the main street I expected it to be noisy, but it was very quiet. Nice clean room, friendly staff, great price! I will be booking up there the next time I return to Ballina. Would recommend my friends to do the same.
Fabulous value in the heart of Ballina. Staff and owners, who are often on site to ensure smooth running, gave excellent, friendly service. They were knowledgeable on local points of interest, helped to secure drivers and gladly used their time and efforts to research on internet, when needed. I hope to return to this Irish jewel one day.
Friendly and helpfulness stair
The stairs, too many!
