Very cozy and charming little hotel. Very close to Drumcondra train station. Breakfast and bar food were not excellent but staff were very nice and helpful. I think the breakfast can be improved.

From the moment we arrived we felt the Irish warmth and hospitality that, in our experience is unsurpassed. The arrangement of the bed was awkward. I realize it is in a small space but for two people difficult to get in and out of.

Very friendly accommodating staff, Have stayed twice and both times had nothing to complain about. Quiet, comfortable, clean rooms, good breakfast, good value for money. Nice atmosphere in the lounge downstairs if the mood takes you for a few drinks. Walkable distance to the city centre or approximately eight euro taxi fare if you are feeling lazy.

Old world feel, lovely building. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Old hotel that has been revamped, as such some things still look a little shabby.

Comfortable bed Room keycard didn't work so trudged back to reception to have it reprogammed; lugged my bag back up through the corridors only to discover keycard still didn't work; trudged back to reception again and girl came back up to room to open it with her master key. She assured me it would be fixed during the course of the day; however on return at 11pm it was still wasn't working so trudged back to reception...etc. Bathroom light wasn't working. Shower hose was leaking from 3 places. Tv unwatchable due to terrible reception.

Surprisingly easy to find given distance from city centre, but is near train stop and 5 min walk from main bus route to/from airport and/or city. Reception staff pleasant and got a deal on the cooked breakfast. Very quiet considering the small hotel contains a restuarant and bar. Room 12 central heating was off. Shower took time to warm up. TV is at a poor angle to view with not the best picture. Bed is crammed in with walls on immediate 3-sides. These comments were not enough to mean it was not a perfectly pleasant one night stay.

Cleanliness, sympathy of the staff, quiet. The low water pressure of the shower and its slow drain capacity.
