Room service Comfortable bed Clean Great restaurant and bar
The staff - everyone was friendly, smiling and could not have been more helpful.
The rooms, staff and the ambiance of the hotel is what I enjoyed the most. Very relaxing.
From the valet service, check in, rooms, turn down service, check out, this hotel provided to our every whim effortlessly, all the way to providing bottled water in our car on departure...they really thought of everything. Its a beautiful hotel, from design to service, it smacks of professionalism. The way the drinks are served is creative and professional... I had a Gin and tonic, the nicest I have ever had! (served in a jug with crushed ice and loads of fresh mint..... ..yum!) I cant wait to return to this hotel, I will eat there the next time and use the spa, I'm confident it will be excellent.
Staff were excellent
The paying for parking which will result in me not visiting the hotel again
Great leisure/spa facilities, Amazing cocktails.
The location was spot on and the leisure facilities were great. Friendly and helpful staff made the weekend special.
You could charge food n drink to the room unless you had a credit card!!
Location was very good , handy to Aviva
Lift access and bathroom were poor
Modern hotel with excellent spar facilities.
If there is a show on at the adjacent theatre it is almost impossible to get a table at the hotel bar due to the number of outside guests coming in for a pre-show drink
the staff were brilliant they went above and beyond to help us have a great stay
Service provided. Coming back to the hotel to our curtains drawn, chocolate and slippers ready for us. Rose petals on our bed.
Shower went hot to cold. Paid room on arrival. I had room service and they wanted me to pay that up front. Not the attitude I am used to in a 5 star hotel
Modern clean and friendly
Clock was wrong in pool and receptionist didn't acknowledge me when I was waiting via a look / nod (on the phone)
Quality, style and attention
Bit too far from the centre to be handy for meeting people at other hotels or restaurants and retail. Long wait at reception upon arrival.
Attention to detail and attentive staff. breakfast untill 11 am is good idea. all staff very friendly.
Pizza cold and undercooked ( room service)
Enjoyed the comfort , the homliness ,but most of all the helpfullness and friendliness of the well trained and excellent staff .
Can not think of anything.
I booked a deluxe room for the night of the 9th January as a surprise for my fiancee. It was her 30th. From the moment I made the reservation the staff were so accommodating!! I booked a private transfer from my house (Clonee) to the hotel. It was definitely worth the extra few bob. It added to the surprise when a beautiful Mercedes with blacked out windows & white leather arrived outside the house!! Check in was smooth and very welcoming. Robert is the guy that we dealt with. Our room was very nice and had a nice view with part river view. The power shower was amazing!! Both the bedroom and the bathroom was so spacious. We were in the room a couple of hours and we got chocolate dipped strawberries with a cute Happy Birthday note delivered to the room. Such a lovely touch. We got a little box of chocolates (2 in the box) when housekeeping came around for turn down service. We had lunch in the bar/lobby area and it was very reasonably priced. Cocktails went down very well. The Marker seems to be a bit of a celeb spotter of a spot - we seen Sonia O'Sullivan when we were eating lunch & again on check out. That's my claim to fame!! I have recommended this hotel to all my friends and family and I hope to stay here again!!
We stupidly took a bottle of water from the mini bar and my jaw hit the floor on check out when I was told it was €9 - it's was a standard sized bottle of Ballygowan water. Just one thing about the tables in the lobby area, they were very low down so eating lunch was a little uncomfortable. Everything else was perfect!!
Quirky - ness
the swimming and jacuzzi area amazing and bedrooms were outstanding great night
bit expensive for the rooms but worth it.
Staff very friendly , beds were so comfortable !! Spa pool was nice and warm and good atmosphere . I didn't get a treatment but enjoyed relaxing in the spa. I'd stay here again .
Our tv was broken and we waited over an hour to have someone sent up. My he repair guy eventually came after a second call and after 45 minutes gave up. We had to move rooms , and they offered no conoensatiin, I asked for breakfast and they obliged . The breakfast cost 40 euros so we were pleased with that!
