almost everything. Wonderful hotel with fantastic staff.
my room and the bar and the hotel in general were suffocatingly hot, even with the heat turned off in the room, slept with the window up. To be fair it was unseasonably warm, but not sure the fire needed to be on in the bar - they had to open the window.
The room was lovely although the bathroom was actually nicer than the room. Nice Hotel, it dose not have wow factor by any means but comfortable.
The food was overpriced to a silly degree. Breakfast is certainly ridiculous for what is offered. We had Afternoon Tea. The last three cakes looked good and were beautiful but the rest and main of it was very disappointing especially considering price. Presentation poor and portions were unimpressive. We were very much looking forward to this as a treat, we ourselves would not return.
Luxurious and dined at Patrick gilbaud restaurant which was fantastic
Very expensive. Could only afford this for a special occasion
Friendly and accommodating staff, easy checkin, large rooms with strong WiFi, comfortable bed, very clean. Stayed during The Summit and thought rate was quite reasonable for service given.
Nothing. Will stay here again next time in Dublin.
Fabulous tea room Perfect location for exploring Dublin Very friendly and professional staff Delightfuil garden Prompt Room service
Breakfast room underground and windowless
Interaction with the staff - always cheerful and interactive Always very clean with pleasant aroma everywhere you go Food excellent
Bit of a shame that breakfast isn't naturally included in a quite expensive room rate - it does seem a bit cheap not to include this as it is only a few euros more
The charming and helpful staff, the comfortable room and the position of the hotel.
The Wi-Fi connection in the room was very poor
After running the marathon it was a nice touch to have fresh juices serviced when you returned to the hotel. Great pool.
Very convenient location with St.Stephen's Green & Grafton Street nearby. The friendliness, efficiency & courtesy of all the staff was overwhelming. Room was tastefully furnished with a beautiful & spacious bathroom.Manicured garden in the centre with a warm & lovely ambiance. Free good quality WiFi throughout. A five star hotel with ten star service & comfort.
Love the staff decor one of the best in the country thank you for looking after us so well !!
The Merrion's elegance never disappoints. The pool is excellent. The food is great.
Breakfast can fry your wallet
Loved the spa; was nice if you like elegant, period styles; mini Downton Abbey; staff were great; beautiful garden particularly the parterre
caipirinha recipe pillows too soft
Upgrade to suite really helped my stay withy 2 children V much appreciated
The welcome from the staff and easy check in and out. The 2 lounges with open log fires. The comfortable bar with delicious cocktails. The quality of the food we ordered for a snack lunch. The extra comfortable enormous bed in our room and the quality of the bedding. The Asprey Toileteries in the bathroom The hot hot water for my nighttime bath. They provided fresh ginger for my lemon and ginger tea in the morning and a lemon tea bag so we could make our own tea in the room at no extra cost. Free wifi in the bedroom
The room was rather cold. I found the noise from the traffic kept me awake on the Saturday night and I had asked for a quiet room.
- The staff and service was excellent, they were extremely accommodating with a young baby - The location in the City Centre - The lobby, dining areas and garden were very pleasant
- For a 5* hotel, the room was tired looking and in need of refurbishment
The location, the grounds, the service, the fireplaces, the salons where tea and cocktails were served for comfortable chatting, the service, the bed, the bathroom, the service
Couldn't afford to stay here too long, look for specials and enjoy
I want my ashes scattered in the gardens and a few put in the urns in the corridor on the way to the garden wing!! That just says it all. The best hotel in Dublin , by a mile. Love the Merrion.
Luxury hotel close to the city centre.
The rooms are comfortable, but the air conditioning was inadequate on a not very hot autumn day.
Location, excellent service and a lovely room. All the small touches. Breakfast v good.
No biscuits in the room. Nowhere to sit - other than bar due to afternoon tea tables being blocked. Unable to check out after 1230.
everything especially the little things others miss out so badly on
This has been our third visit to The Merrion and as always it was a fabulous experience. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank You to all the Merrion staff.
Don't be silly!!!
The staff is absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond many different times. We enjoyed the High Tea and bar rooms very much. The Cellar restaurant was wonderful and a very taste. Anything we asked for was taken care of right away and they were extremely helpful with information about places and sights. I will stay here anytime i and ever in Dublin.
The location of our room 144 wasn't the best we could hear the dumpsters being empty around 11pm but that was only for a few minutes.
Their display of original artwork, the formal English garden, the sitting area for tea.
