The rating shown for the hotel is 4-stars, but even though it is a gracious older-style hotel with great views and good location, overall I feel that a 3 star rating is more realistic when compared to other 4 star hotels that I have stayed at. |

We have used it before so knew what to expect. Good range of draught beers. Good. but expensive, breakfast. Breakfast is very good if you are hungry and want the full Irish, but expensive just for coffee and a bowl of cereal. |

the hotel was clean and tidy and a short trip to the town the bed was very small and not comfortable..the shower did not have the best temperature going from boiling hot to freezing cold |

The room was clean and modern. The staff were friendly. The hotel was quite far from the city centre. It is about a 2km climb up a steep hill back to the hotel. The design of the hotel seemed a bit ill concieved. Although we were on the ground floor, we had to first climb and then decend a set of stairs to get to our room. The room was way too hot. The bar wasn't nice at all. |

I'm afraid I didnt like much about it! I found the staff to be less than friendly/polite!! On checking in, the receptionist was very abrupt! We were tehn given the wrong room and as soon as we returned to reception there was little or no surprise we were back. We weret ehn told. You'll have to wait 30 mins! This hotel is rated as a 4 Star hotel!! I have stayed in far superior 3 Star hotels and being honest I cant say I felt soo disappointed in the abruptness of staff before in any hotel until I stayed here! |

was upgraded to Presidental suite for my wedding Anniversary,Thank you to Hotel staff..Leisure Centre class,hotel grounds and garden Suite fantastic,Hotel staff very friendly,Restuarant very tasty and resonable priced..very close to Cork city for shopping |

Location was quiet Room was very warm and smelt of chlorine from swimming pool below. Food was extremely ordinary and limited choice. Breakfast service was very poor. |

The staff was very helpful and nice. The gym was very nice too. The rooms were stuffy. They offered fans but and not all the windows would open up and when you did open the windows at night you could here the people outside on the patio. I would recommend ceiling fans. Housekeeping also never gave us enough stuff in our room. We had 3 people but we only got 2 towels and glasses.Also it is a bit of a walk to the city center about 15minutes. |

Great choose in breakfast, evening dinner in the Bistro was relaxed and good food. Pool opening hours great for children, good central point for visiting Cork. |

The view of Cork city was lovely, hotel was classy and inviting and hotel staff were very helpful. Our first room we were allocated, there was a strong smell of smoke in the room, the receptionist was very quick to reallocate us when we informed her, I know its not the staffs fault as it is a no smoking hotel, guests should be more obedient to the rules. |

Staff were very good and unassuming. One or two minor problems were easily solved quickly. There were two weddings during our stay. I feel they should have been recepted in a seperate area to the general public. |

I requested a double room but what I received was 2 single beds pushed together. Very disappointed - I had to get the hotel to change our room. Bad start to our stay. Also, it was near impossible to get served drink at the bar - foreign staff that did not have a clue what you were trying to order. |

The management and front of house staff were extremely welcoming and made us feel valued as guests. The walk into the city was fine as it was all down hill but after dining out or shopping the walk back up the hill was too much. The distance is definitely further from the city centre than the web site suggests. Maybe this should be more transparent. |

Lovede being able to leave my car there while I went to Dublin for a few days. For this reason I would come back and stay again Hard to find, I'm not familiar with the oneway streets in Cork so got lost several times trying to find the hotel. |

the staff were very welcoming when we went to check in at reception . I was very impressed with our room as I travel a lot and this room was one of the nicest I have stayed in recently the decor was lovely and I also enjoyed the leisure centre. |
