Score from 1895 reviews Good
chair in room was dirty and stained with rips, carpet had strange brown stain beside bed, mirror was dirty with brown liquid stains all over the bottom and a few burn marks in the carpet.
free upgrade to an executive king room, love life!
well our room was an ajoining room and the guest next door was very drunk and kept banging on the blocked off ajoining door because he wanted to see our room.
Extremely comfy bed, good room facilities (minibar, personalised tv, free wifi in the room), brilliant location right in the city centre, walking distance from everything, they upgraded our room on arrival which was a lovely surprise!! All of the staff were approachable, friendly and lovely to us.
Very pricey, especially drinks; but it's expected in this location.
Location Staff good
Too hot even with radiator turned off. Only boiling water from Shower
That booking.com had not forward on our booking when we arrived there was no booking thank goodness the staff where so good in the Morgan
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was good size & very clean. Bar in hotel was very lively
No free parking
situated in he middle op Temple Bar and in the middle of the City.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, room very big and clean (I got a complimentary upgrade on my first stay at this hotel!). The gym is very nice and just around the corner.
Lack of welcome from reception staff Small rooms
Continental breakfast delivered to room was poor. Tea was cold and there were no pastries or bread
Incredible breakfast including smoked salmon
No real fault to find
Great location in the middle of temple bar, I was concerned that it may have been too noisy to sleep at night but the room was quiet. Staff were very helpful, WiFi was good and free in the room.
Location and free upgrade Staff trying hard
Tired looking decor Cold breakfast
Went with our family to celebrate a birthday. Our five deluxe rooms were excellent and to the back of the hotel which was much quieter as recommended by the very helpful reception staff.
We stayed here for one night in November and we had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room we had was very comfortable and spacious. The location allows easy access to all the main tourist attractions in the city. I would highly recommend The Morgan for a luxury city break.
Décor - Beautiful Breakfast - outstanding Rooms - Stunning Lively Bar area Vibrant atmosphere Perfect location Staff very helpful
Reception - understaffed Rooms not ready on time Check out - long queue / left our luggage in foyer unattended / overcharged us for one of the rooms Music from bar kept us awake (we were on 2nd floor)
beautiful room.very comfortable and warm. staff are friendly and efficient
Great location, beautiful rooms and friendly staff.
Bar area had a funny off putting smell.
Good vibe, friendly & helpful staff, excellent breakfast, 2 for 1 cocktail was nice gesture and nice clean and comfortable room. Also liked the location
Don't recall seeing any air conditioning -noisy with window open!
The Bed was very comfortable, Location is very convenient for sight seeing and going out.
Although we requested a quiet room, noise kept us from sleeping. Surprisingly, not streetnoise, which you have to expect in this party street, but the hotels own bar / club was hammering insane beats till early morning, even on sunday night till way past 1 AM. The room was very cold, heating would only work during the day, not at night or in the mornings. There was NO heating in the bathroom. Complaints at the front desk had no effect. The furniture seems quite old and shabby, the floor and chairs seemed dirty.
Location and hotel luxury..
The location was right in the mix of temple bar.
The uncomfortable bed
I loved the interior
Felt over priced for size of bedroom. What was booked as Luxury King size room was an average double room
The hotel is really quirky and laid back, I really liked that it was so different.
The hotel overbooked for that day even though we had booked a few months in advance. The hotel then tried to get us to stay in an alternative hotel a few doors down but we refused as we had taken so long to find the right hotel for us. We were then upgraded to a deluxe room, but it was still bad that they overbooked.
Great location if you don't know Dublin, as it's in the temple bar area. The hotel is lovely and had a house music nite club wen all around were playing fiddly dee music which was great.
There more too Dublin than the temple bar area. Get out and about, make the most of happy hours, which our hotel had, as the drinks prices in the temple bar area are a rip off.
