The owner was very helpful- and we did appreciate her calling to see whether we'd be able to get out to Skelling Michael the following day. The breakfast was very nice and the beds very comfortable. Being able to make your own cup of tea is very convenient when travelling, to allow you to relax in your room without having to bother the owner and to do it at all times. The lack of internet access when it is advertised as a feature of the property is a serious let down- we have had a family member hospitalised while we've been travelling and we were relying on this access to call home- as a result we were out of range from any communication whilst at this hotel. We've also stayed in B&Bs around Southern Ireland over the past week, all of which have cost 5-15 euros less which provided much more service- so we felt this was a little overpriced.

Disappointed to see that there wasn't any tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast choice was limited and certainly didn't live up to the images posted on the booking website. In general, I expected a much higher standard and I won't ne recommending it to other people.

Location. I was told before I we went the Waterville was a beatiful place. The town looked as if it had not been cleaned up or painted since Chaplin was on holiday there. Hotel was fine.

The hostess was very welcoming. The bedroom particulary pleasant and very clean. Very beautiful restoration. The area very quiet and restfull. Proximity of the sea and the village. I will recommand this house to my friends and relatives without hesitation. The breakfast : amazing ! Très bon accueil. La chambre très propre et la salle de bain très confortable. Je peux recommander cette maison sans hésitation. Le petit dejeuner un vrai régal. Que du bonheur!

Hosts Mr & Mrs Brown very friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Went out of their way to ensure our stay was wonderful, despite inclement weather - not something they could do anything about but they made some great suggestions for things to do. Menu in bedrooms.
