Warm welcome and very accommodating owners. Rooms comfortable and warm. Location to town and meeting of the rivers was great. Excellent value for money.
Our Host Barbara was excellent although we never got to meet Mick. She provided us with excellent useful information and also so recommend an beautiful restaurant to eat. Would have loved to stay for longer - next time.
Our stay was wonderful from start to finish, great recommendations on the local area from Mike, delicious, DELICIOUS breakfast made by Barbara, a very comfortable room and an even better shower, all made our stay fantastic, 5 stars. Thank you!
Gorgeous breakfast, really friendly host
Mick the owner very friendly and Helpful Breakfast was great with good menu options
Little bit cold heating went off at one stage can hear people in other rooms
The host were wonderful. Breakfast was great. Enjoyed the quietness of the area.
That we didn't have more time to stay longer.
Lovely property in a fabulous location. Very friendly, helpful owners who made our stay very comfortable, would definitely stay again.
menu was excelent .beautiful fresh eggs,
having to leave.
Loved the delightful hosts. Our room was very comfotable, great breakfasts and helpful advice on places to visit. We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn't want to leave.
The house was very clean & warm, hosts both extremely friendly. Breakfasts were tasty & well presented.
Our only complaint was that the nearest local pub stopped serving food at 6pm.
We received a warm welcome. We were meeting up with friends from the area so the house was a perfect location.
Great location, Comfortable room, brilliant service and breakfast and an especially warm welcome. Gave great advice for an Ireland novice on places to see.
Wifi connectivity was a little patchy in room but that's probably being fussy and splitting hairs.
We found this to be a lovely guest house with a very warm and friendly host who was a wealth of local knowledge about places to visit, eat and drink. I would highly recommend a visit. We had a great time and loved the breakfast next morning that included eggs from the hens onsite!
I couldn't fault the place in any way
Great Service and a very good breakfast.
Very warm welcome with a pot of tea and some apple cake. The fire in the living room was going and it instantly felt homely. Breakfast was included in the price and consisted of a fantastic variety of hot & cold options. All were delicious and set us up well for the day. The owners Barbara & Michael were so helpful, on arrival we were given local options of places to eat. We decided on which one we would try so Barbara rang ahead to check there were tables and then booked one for us. Then before we left the following morning Michael asked where we were heading, then on our map showed us additional places of interest along our route which was fab. It was very quiet and the area is stunning.
Michael and Barbara very friendly and helpful. Breakfast menu was very varied and very good value for money. Beautiful surroundings very peaceful
The hosts were warm and welcoming with a pot of tea within moments of our afternoon arrival. The short walk to the Meeting of the Waters Pub was such a bonus, with the stroll riverside and the lovely views from the pub. We lost power the second night we were there with power not returning until mid morning and they handled it with calm grace and humor. We loved the village of Avoca and the Fitzgerald Pub had great food. County Wicklow stole my wife's heart and we'll be back; when we do this will be our first choice of B&B.
Great weekend mick and Barbara could not do enough for us food excellent so helpful we ll be back
