Location was perfect in terms of being near everything in town.
No staff at desk. Had to ring bell and wait. Rooms dingy and furnishings sparce. Bed was fair. Noise level from outside was extremely loud. Shower did not work at first and had to go downstairs to find someone to address the problem (which they did).
Friendly landlady and hotel very central for eating out etc
Ground floor room , clearly was reception room with two beds put in it. Felt very odd. Only one bedside table , poor lighting for reading. Carpet looked dusty , mouldy grout in shower. Kettle lid broken.generally felt rather scruffy and was expensive for room only.
staff , in town comfort lovely house
Excellent Location, friendly and efficient staff. Very clean. We stayed the weekend of Rose of Tralee and received info in advance on car parking etc, could have been more helpful!
Room was very small and one side of the bed up against the wall. Not easy to get in and out of when sharing with another person!!!
The choice of good food for breakfast
Matras to hard. Not enough water. No wifi on room.
Ideal for family or sole traveller. Nice big rooms.Friendly staff, good wi fi, all city attractions around the coner. Highly recomend this place to anybody.
Good location Friendly staff Good breakfast Comfortable bed
Bathroom was small Toilet did not work well
We found the beds to be extremely comfortable and the breakfasts to be as good or better than any that we have had in far more expensive accommodation. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly and will not hesitate to recommend the Park to others
Wifi should be readily available to all rooms.
The room comfort, the best choice for the breakfast and most of all the care that we visitors can benefit from our host
Rather run down property.
Beds, breakfast wasn't good
Nice "period" property; enjoyed the historical aspect of the place. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Wonderful location. Comfortable bed. Reasonable price.
No fan for (hot!) room; no mirror except in bathroom so doing one's hair/using the hair dryer was close to impossible. There is plenty of wall space near the hair dryer - all they need to do is hang a mirror! Room was very small. No rack or anywhere else to open a suitcase; had to put it on the floor, taking up most of the floorspace. Pillows were terrible - like sacks of cement..
Fabulous location - close to everything, yet on a quiet street. Welcoming hosts, beautiful art, very peaceful, comforting energy! Very reasonably priced.
I prefer bedding that is very soft and a firmer mattress.....that is the only upgrade I would suggest!
Excellent location, walking distance to restaurants, shops and pubs. Friendly helpful staff .
The location is good and easy to find. It is possible to find parking on the street but it is pay parking and I had to get up at 8.30 a.m. to feed the meter. It is a nice old house and the breakfast was fine.
The bathroom was badly in need of renovation. The shower tiles were not clean and I felt the bathroom was grubby. Bed & breakfast cost me €90 which I felt was far too much given the standard of the accommodation.
Situation near the centre and pubs/restaurants.
Door locked on arrival, first reaction smell of dog, second reaction dodge large hound, trained in the one word from the owner and I do what I like school. Room on second floor, no lift. Bathroom shower seriously mouldy, with more silicon in view than used by Jordan. Wifi not available in room, apparently the owner had gone away for a few days and taken the modem, advised by the same receptionist who said they did not normally let this room. Money taken on arrival before seeing room, thought strange at first but not surprised after seeing accommodation.
No hot/ cold water at time of shower no parking bad service
Staff was so friendly and accommodating! Gave us recommendations for dinner. I loved the lounge and DVD selection..especially the Dynasty series. Beau the dog was a riot and so friendly.
Water temp in the shower fluctuated from cold to scalding.
Friendly staff. Chocolate cakes delivered to room. Location. Sunny room, comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast/coffee first day. Music. Shower.
Grey creased nets at window. Kettle not working. Inside door difficult to lock. Undercooked breakfast second day. weak coffee. (but excellent scones)
Location and the staff were VERY, VERY freindly.
On arrival, my wife commented to me on dog smells - sure enough, a freindly smelly pooch appeared, and was free to roam EVERYWHERE in the house. Carpets stained and dirty. Sink unit badly cracked. Overall, the room wasNOT up to modern standards by any means. Wi-Fi OF NO USE AT ALL. @€160 for 2 nights X 2People it is WAY WAY OVERPRICED. Staff were however, very nice and friendly.
Lovely marmalades and jams at breakfast.
There was no water in the shower at 9am (our party booked 3 rooms and not a single one had it at that time).. We had to go down to the reception to solve it (some of us were trapped covered in soap in the shower for 10 minutes).. Wifi was really slow.
Hot noisy dirty
Excellent staff and a nice friendly greeting .
