Great price with central location
It's the hotel we got engaged in last new years eve.... So we stayed this new years eve to celebrate..
That our electricity went out. A switch tripped. No big deal front desk lovely older lady sorted it in a few mins.
Great Location, got an excellent price for B&B. Breakfast until 12.00 was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast until 12 o clock
The location was excellent, central for pubs, restaurants and transport. Parking on-site (limited availability). Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bed was very comfortable.
We had Room 232 and it was very quiet internally, but the noise from traffic on Sarsfield Street was very invasive.
The staff were excellent and very friendly. Changing rooms was no trouble to them at all (see negative comment)
The first room that we were given smelt of stale smoke which gave us a bad impression of the hotel and its no smoking policy.
Stayed for a weekend break hotel was fine for break close to town centre short walk to the castle, which was worth the visit, was on the river bank beside bridge and all main shops. Breakfast was good and staff were all friendly and helpful
Great location, parking availability, good value fare
Room was very small, and a little dated
We felt really welcome as we checked in. The room was lovely and clean.
Our only complaint was that the room was too hot and we were not able to turn it down..
great location, friendly and helpfull staff
wifi was not great
I stayed here already and decided to come back. The room I got this second time had a great view over the bridge and river, I really enjoyed it. Staff is nice, city is small and you can see everything by foot from this location.
Breakfast is ok, but was too much for me. No real complaints, a fine little hotel.
loved our stay, a lovely receptionist and barman on duty. the food was excellant
Great location right by the River Shannon.
breakfast serve to 12 noon. in the middle off the town
alarm keep going off. windows are not full seal. hear every moving off cars and people out side
Car park was full so got to park in the hotels bus stop right outside. The fun stops there.
Staff generally not pleasant (with the exception of front desk, that lady was lovely). Manager was reprimanding staff with open office door within earshot of front lobby. Room basic and dated. Breakfast table not cleared or clean. Cutlery dirty. Breakfast very average and they actually charge €2 extra for 90g of cereal! Hilarious! Staff giving a construction worker in a high vis directions about work to do in the middle of breakfast. This hotel is trying to be a Premier Inn type stay but is below par for the money. Spend a little but more in Limerick and the standard of your hotel will be vastly better.
The staff were lovely and the location is excellent, the rooms are basic but clean, great value for money
The people across the hall were trying to get into our room and kept banging their door so annoying they were in and out all the early morning.
Enjoyable in every way - the staff is helpful and friendly, location is perfect, good breakfast, a fine little hotel for a traveller or family. Would be happy to stay there again.
Hot water for showering could be a bit hotter.
Great staff and friendly service.lovely food and excellent location.
Could not get wi fi in rooms so missed an important email and cold water came out hot xx
The staff were very pleasant, and helpful. Absoutley loved the receptionist, she was so lovely and helpful l. I didn't have enough time for breakfast so she actually got us toast which was so nice, and I loved the location. Right next to the city which was perfect.
It was very very loud, so loud in fact I didn't get much sleep. Obviously traffic wasn't so much a problem, but it was an almost fan sound all night. It wasn't very enjoyable at all, and I was so tired the next morning. The wifi also wasn't very strong at all, it stopped working for me as was very shady all night.
Bed was lumpy and the shower was lukewarm
Staff were friendly
Light in bathroom over the mirror could not be turned off.I'd to get the night porter up to the room to remove the bulb, as the light was seeping out under the door. this was embarrassing for all concerned after midnight. Furthermore the central head rad could not be adjusted and was on full in a small room which meant we had to iopen the window in a small room on a very cold night. They really should have offered us another night complimentary as the experience upset both our nights sleep.
Very friendly and helpful reception staff
Terrible breakfast service. Ordered tea and toast with my breakfast and it only arrived after I'd finished the breakfast
Location and breakfast
On the first floor, lots of noise from the bar, also outside noise as if the window was open,it was that loud
