Everything was fine. We have stayed in thirteen hotels in the past three weeks. I didn't like anything in particular. it was OK
The pillows were too hard. The pasta was inaccurately described. it was awful. I hardly ate any of it. It was boiled chicken with tinned chopped tomatoes on it. Not chicken cooked in provencal style.
The girl at checkin was lovely and helpful. Nice garden which would be lovely in the summer. The carvery lunch was simple but tasty.
The lady at checkout wasn't really that nice and couldn't afford even a smile. The overall hotel was a little old but not dirty. A typical country hotel probably more for country people, but good value for money, nonetheless.
Friendly staff. Most helpful in recovering an important item I left in the room after check out.
Bed was poor
Great hotel located out of the city of Waterford yet still within a few minutes drive. Lovely country setting and when I opened my curtains in the morning, all I could see were green fields, a fantastic view. Great sing song and dancing also in the bar on the night I was there, I didn't stay long as I was very tired but everyone seemed to be enjoying it.
I don't think there was anything I did not like about this hotel, can't be if I am going back in four weeks time when I am that way again.
We arrived in the early hours of the morning but the bar was still operating with a band with dancing and singing. The clientele was middle aged and everyone was having a good time. From our room you could not hear the noise in the bar which was good however we joined them for a drink. The staff did not mind us arriving so late and were very friendly. It was a good stopover to drive to the rosslare ferry in the morning, about 1 hours drive.
That we could only stay for a few hours as we had to leave early in the morning.
breakfast friendly staff good bar and food
This was our second trip to Ireland and the Rhu Glenn. It was entirely satisfactory in all aspects. Service, accommodation and friendly staff were in abundance. We only hope we have the opportunity to stay there again.
Value for money, good room, location suited our needs, excellent breakfast.
friendliness of staff bathrooms
Noise from the party distrubed sleep
Food excellent pleasant staff
the food was great .Very clean hotel staff very friendly and helpful
location .nothing for kids to play with lacked facilities.
Bedrooms need up dating not great standards for price stayed in alot better hotels for less money. Food in bar again wasn't up to standard and could have been served warmer. lovely friendly staff.
no lift to family rooms . breakfast was dreadful
we were attending the feis so having a ground floor room was very good
feis finished late we couldn't get anything to eat not even a sandwich.very bad form in a hotel for that reason I wouldn't stay there again.
location and food
kids running at 1am screaming, beds to small
Lovely friendly lady called ann on reception she was brilliant :-)
Handiness from motorway Friendly staff
No warm or got water we had an early start left out room at 8am and still no warm water.
We have stayed here a few times over the past year, as always the staff are so very helpful, we asked for a downstairs room as my husband has a back problem, they put us in a lovely room over looking the gardens, unfortunally as we had our dogs in the van we asked could we change our room to one overlooking the carpark, it was no trouble for the receptionist she simply changed us to the room opposite, the food is as always excellent and the bar staff super, we had a wonderful time. we can throughly recommend this hotel.
The towels in the room could do with being bigger.
The quaIntness, the rural location, the delightful room
staff were very friendly and helpful, good service.
wifi was not available in the room I was allocated allow it said it was I had to go to reception area to access it.
the size of the room
It was cold in the room had to ask reception to turn on the heating for us
I liked the fact that we were staying in the venue that we were going dancing in so no driving afterwards. The room and bathroom was nice and clean and the bed comfy. Overall it is a very nice hotel with plenty parking.
Some parts of the hotel was a bit cold. The major downside was the staff, we went into the bar Saturday night to eat and sat down and waited for someone to come to us, unfortunately this did not happen and I had to go to the bar myself to find out and order our food. It was nice though when we got it but for the horrible white sauce on the veg that there was no need for. Breakfast the next morning was nice but the waitress could have done with an injection of something to make her a bit more friendly and talkative...Staff could be better here!! But the two older ladies on the reception desk were nice and friendly. But through it all it wont put me off going back there again sometime.
Good location and good value for money.
No facilities or activities to entertain your children.
its not clean, staff isn't friendly either, entertainment was okay on New evening, food was just okay...just only one hand towel in room for two people...poor service ..never will be back and not recommend for anyone
it is an ideal location and above all they have music in the lounge and country club with good artists. My stay on new years eve was excellent and I was able to attend the dance
