In the heart of the Georgian city of Dublin, this 3-star guest house features traditional dècor and furnishings. It was built in the 18th century, and was once part of the Earl of Clonmel’s estate.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The shower was great.
Filthy windows, no fan provided when requested, poor houskeeping in room.
hotel was clean and the staff was friendly/helpful. We were in a small group and did not have any safety concerns I previously read about.
The area was a little dirty but no different from the Temple Bar Area
Good location, Good breakfast, Good wifi, Bar on premises, Staff very helpful, Good security,
Pay for parking
If use Dart train, great access to center city and also easy access to suburban locations. Good breakfast
Somewhat "shopworn" surroundings and no bathroom soap or shampoo except a soap dispenser attached to the wall. Be sure to get a room away from the nearby train
Location is great. Close to downtown and to the Red Luas line. Staff was friendly.
Old building with old facilities and small rooms. No Air Conditioning so windows needed to be opened. Very close to the Dart line which was noisy. Room facing the front were noisy as well.
Close to all forms of public transport
Walls thin could hear noise and water running in next room
Staff, rooms, cleanliness and position
It was a good hotel excellent breakfast staff helpful near to the centre
nothing everything was good
Breakfasts lack of varity
We were only in Dublin for an overnight layover. So for this, it was fine.
Shower/ bathrooms in need of serious update. Ours got water everywhere.
Staff, wi-fi, close to public transport and city centre
No kettle etc. in room, location felt unsafe after dark
Very convenient location.Close for getting the hop on hop off buses and the bus for the airport too.Nice restaurants and grocery stores close by. Room size was good. Kept our luggage in their luggage room for the whole day after checking out in the morning because our flight was at night.
First we got a room with a handicap accessible bathroom, with half doors to the shower and no curtain. The whole bathroom was flooded with water. Then we requested for another room which we got for our second night. But in that bathroom the faucets for the hot and cold water in the sink were separate and you had to keep it pressed if you wanted to have the water running to wash your hands which was an impossible task.
I found the staff extremely welcoming. The hotel was very clean and in a great location; only walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Good selection for breakfast and use of luggage room was appreciated. Room was nice and quiet, with ironing and hair drying facilities.
If I were to go to Dublin again, id look to stay south of the river as everything is that bit closer. Whilst ripley is only about 30 mins away, doing that trip a few times a day does add up. As for the hotel itself, the staff weren't that knowledgeable about the area and their English wasn't great. It's also a bit dark which can create a strange atmosphere
Good location, comfortable and very friendly staff.
The immediate area surrounding the hotel very grubby.
We liked the friendliness of all the staff, the food was great, the locality was great.
I didn't like the shower door, a shower curtain would be much more convenient as the bathtub is pretty narrow and hard to get in and out of especially for someone who has a bad back.
location and car parking
location cleanliness staff
Room, bed, bath
Ideal location for shopping and visiting the sights close to the city centre on foot .
Bathroom was cramped and shower for too small for one with a portly physique
The location was not in center city, but easily walkable to the center; buses and Luas were nearby. Staff was excellent and very helpful. I will return when in Dublin again.
Location & bar food
Cleanliness wasn't great!
Very handy location but the street was a little dodgy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The walls were pretty thin so it could be a little noisy.
Very convenient to Luas and busses. Also Busaurus is only 100 meters and this is another plus for location, I had a very good nights sleep as I heard no noise fron traffic. Maybe this was due to the location of our bedroom but it was a nice surprise.
I wasn't impressed by the outside appearance of the hotel and so my expectations were not high but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the nice bedroom.
