The Ripley Court Hotel37 Talbot Street, D1 Dublin (Show map)
Good,
Score from 2517 reviews
“ It was the most pleasant stay I have had in all of Dublin. I have stayed in the 5 star hotels in Dublin city centre, & they do not compare to the friendly staff you have working in the Ripley Court. Even the day shift security guard was so friendly. I will recommend to all my family & friends, & will most definitely stay again. ”

I go back to the Ripley time and time again , it,s location and value for money is ideal for me , the breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice . They have triple rooms with 3 beds (as opposed to a double & a single ) ...great for groups of friends nothing to dislike about the hotel , the road at the back can be a bit noisy at night if you have to open the windows

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is very good. The bedroom was fine but the bathroom is in need of updating. The shower was very powerful and leaked out under the shower screen and wet the floor. The WC bowl is not fixed down properly and is rocky. There was no shampoo or washing liquid in the bathroom I do not know if this is policy or a error.

Good location, close to the city and sights, we're big on walking around cities so cannot comment on public transport links although the bus from the airport stopped right outside which was great. Breakfast was decent, bed was comfortable, room was big and clean. Dirty remote, no mixers in bathroom tap, no wifi in the room (seriously?), could hear the water flowing through the plumbing when other rooms used their bathrooms, could hear guests in adjacent room.

Location very convenient and within walking distance to all tourist spots. Hotel is a bit old but very clean and neat. On the booking.com website you advertised that parking are available, on our arrival they told us that parking is only on a first come first served basis. Cups and glasses were not cleaned on the 2nd day.

I've booked rooms in The Ripley Court Hotel a couple times already. The rooms ware always quiet and clean. Breakfast as it should be - full stomach. No problem with the carpark - always room for a car. Excellent location. Great desk service - especially the polish girl, whom name I don't know, is very kind and helpful. She has deserved for a payrising - I hope her boss will read this opinion shortly :-) Anyway, a strong three star hotel.

Location, security, breakfast, cleanliness and staff all excellent. I enjoyed time spent at this hotel. There was a problem with flushing of the toilet with potential embarrassment for guests and cleaning staff. Was not offered an alternative room. An absolute MUST-FIX item.

Rooms were clean and comfortable Breakfast area seemed unclean, plates were being emptied in the middle of the dining area into a basin on a wheelie trolly so whilst your eating you can see the left over food - which is essentially waste- all mixed up together. The waitress going around clearing empty tables adding to this waste basin in full view. It was disgusting to especially whilst eating and put me off eating the breakfast i had purchased. I would recommend that plates are collected and then emptied into a bin in the kitchen. I've never been in a restaurant before and seen a waitress pushing around a waste basin and adding more waste to it. And I never want to see it again.

Friendly helpful staff Price I paid was almost six dollars more than quoted. Clerk said that prices quoted beforehand were in Euros. When I registered online I was also quoted a price in dollars, but when I arrived at the hotel, I had to pay a higher rate. For this reason, I do not recommend this hotel.

Our triple room was very roomy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Good location only about 10 minute walk to O'Connell Street, 2 minute walk to main Bus terminal. Excellent breakfast provided. Reception staff (especially Jill) were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved it all. Maybe supply tea making facilities in room
