Everything was superb and the best value we have found in the UK
tHE BED WAS FINE AND THE BREAKFAST EXCELLENT.
tHE ELECTRIC FIRE DIDN'T WORK.
good staff nice breakfast very comfortable
the location is 30min walk from Galway city and in the evening you have to take a taxi. No buses late in the evening late or early morning if you are going out.
The room was fab!
Check at 11:00am is slightly on the early side, not a lot of time to get things done in the morning. A check out of 12:00 would be better.
Everything was great.
There was nothing I didnt like
it was great value for money and had great facilities to accomidate people on the move inc a microwave and little kitchen area, very homely and welcoming just like a small hotel :)
Only small thing that was annoying was the noise of the vents in the bathroom banging all night every time the wind blew
location, staff, warm,
no shops close by
sroom was great Parking
Location far from center
The hotel is too far from the city center, too far from salthill too. On web site, it is mentioned that it is far about 2,5km and actually this is about 5km. Not recommended for people without car. It was a really bas surprise for me.
Coffee station and the biscuits ;)
The bed was comfortable and the breakfast tasty.
It was very difficult to find!
What a nice place for such a good price! Couldn't have asked for anything more! Just perfect!
It was the first time for me to book room in house But actually I enjoyed that time
Excellent staff and facilities. Really big and comfortable room, with excellent WiFi. I'm very happy with my stay.
The location was a bit off from the city centre, but we knew this when we made the booking so we hired bikes and got a nice little bike ride every time we went to the city centre and back again.
Really nice place to stay would defently stay here again
really nice staff, comfy rooms and great beds.
could hear people talking in another room
Value for money, nice rooms and clean.
Quality of service at breakfast was poor. Second stay here, and this was not as good as before.
This Guest House was very warm and cosy. We enjoyed our stay there. Our original room was on the second floor unfortunately, I have mobility problems so they changed our room to accommodate me. I should have stated that when I booked and they would have given us a room at floor.
The bed was too soft. We are used to a firmer bed.
the facilities, price and location
the noise- there was a lot of doors banging staff were talking so loud until about 11, I could hear every move the couple above me made and didnt get to sleep until after 1am with the noise! dont stay if you have an early start
We didn't expect this accomodation to be so great, because it was so cheap. The moment we arrived, we were very impressed. The staff was very nice, they even helped us with booking a trip to the cliffs. The room was amazing, very spacious, there were fresh towels and even chocolate on the bed. The room was so beautiful I didn't want to leave it. :) It was better than in any hotel. We had a private bathroom, which was very clean and quite big. There is also a common room with a kitchen and tables. There is also a large sofa and a tv. You got the feeling like you are at home. We honestly think that this is the best accomodation we ever stayed in. We highly recommend it!
This is a wonderful guesthouse with great service and it has everything you could ask for. I have stayed there before and highly recommend it!
Very comfortable and clean. Offers a small area with fridge, microwave, kettle and free tea/coffee/milk/biscuits. Friendly staff. One of the best B&B I have ever stayed.
Staff friendly.Good breakfast.
Far too noisy.Could not sleep.
we three couples there. one of the couple got the double room which was quite compact and having very less space. i would advise to opt for triple room even if you are a two people and there is much difference un price. At my time double and triple room were at the same price.
After travelling Europe for 6 months and finding this gem, it's safe to give it a 5/5 and completely made our trip to Galway! What a beautiful little place! We did luck out with room 12 as it seemed to be the biggest, but the entire guesthouse itself was homely, warm and comfortable. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that, but if you drive in to salt hill there are plenty of restaurants there which serve Irish breakky! Free parking was a bonus too and check in/out process was smooth
Hmm... We wouldn't change a thing :)
