Couldn't say a bad word about Powerscourt, it was a 5 star stay from start to finish I will recommend it to many more people
Suite was first class, staff were brilliant and the cleanliness and overall comfort excellent.
Unfortunately the only down side was the food...when you pay top prices you expect top quality and it fell short of the mark.
The location is perfect with a view second to none. This is Wicklow at its best.
The vodafone coverage within the hotel was nil for the duration of my stay. No signal at all.
Lovely hotel, staff, grounds. Our fourth time here will not be our last.
Nothing loved it all
Heated indoor pool long enough to do laps. Well designed and very spacious room.
Noisy air conditioning.
Beds are comfortable
Paid rv wasn't working. . Couldn't watch any movie . Disappointing ..
Problems with water/plumbing but dealt with by management perfectly
The whole experience
having to leave
Staff wonderful!! In one very good experience we can't wait to go. Back again
Maybe better bar menu!
I liked when the waiter told me where my fish was catched from. #Kerry impressive
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The food was very overpriced
Room, Bar Staff, front office staff, general Hotel and Surrounds
Spa staff, non attentive, tired looking pool area, poor when compared with others, no real views for such a beautiful locatiom
This place reflects the complete and utter excesses of the Celtic tiger economic boom of the early 2000 era. The good news is that it's probably 1/2 the price of what you'd pay in 2007 under the ritz nameplate (which they lost in their financial woes). It a very nice property 12 miles from dublin in a very bucolic setting. If you have the chance to spend a few nights her and don't mind expansive luxury vs intimate old world rustic of traditional irish accommodations, then book it and sip the champagne.
It's big. It's not intimate and it's somewhat corporate.
location, entrance, foyer . Bicycles. Leisure facilities.
dress code of the door staff did not look smart for the quality of the hotel. we travelled with another couple . they got scones on arrival to their room we didn't lack of consistency
The facilities and comfort
We got a room facing a hedge and the hotel was virtually empty. Across from us were rooms with fantastic views of the Sugar Loaf.
Excellent hotel, fantastic facilities. Great staff. Spa area excellent. Surrounding area suburb.
Room was a bit warm at night and couldn't seem to adjust air con to cool room.
Hotel facilites were excellent, great location set in the powerscourt estate with great walks. Breakfast was excellent and the food in McGills was lovely. Bit pricey but fine for a special occasion.
One side of the king size bed was dipped and my husband did not have a good nights sleep at all
The whole experience. Excellent food
This is a plush hotel with excellent facilities; spacious well appointed rooms, a decent pool, a beautiful spa, delicious food, amazing walks and gardens in the Powerscourt Estate, a lovely relaxed atmosphere with staff that are friendly, obliging and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our pamper sojourn.
beautifull hotel. fabulous bed rooms. lovely surroundings spa was wonderfrull BREAKFAST was the highlight ,
1st impression much busier than expected the corporate business (car company) seemed to have priorty ,parking, bars, resturant . the mc gills bar was a big disapointment too loud and busy to dine in so had to opt for fine dinning lovely meal but 2 choices € 60 a bit over priced for what we got, very little toiletries and no mineral water
The facilities are excellent.
There was noise outside our windows as a wedding party was ongoing all night. Ruined our sleep
price of food & drinks
