Fantastic hotel, very comfortable and clean with excellent facilities and yet still at budget prices! Will definitely book in again next time I'm sent out that way.

I stay in the hotel every year for a charity event and always look forward to it - the bed is so comfortable and the food is always delicious breakfast in particular is excellent value the staff are friendly and helpful

There was a small problem with the carpet in our room but this was addressed as soon as we phoned reception so no complaint really

Food in Alamo restaurant just ok

I was attending a wedding and although I booked through booking.com, I was given the special wedding rate. Breakfast was lovely, efficient and freshly cooked.

One little thing and other guests felt the same next morning. By the time we went to bed after the wedding, no one thought to check whether heating was on. The rooms were mega warm. It might be a tip for reception to mention it on checking in - just to remember to adjust to liking.

Location and staff were amazing.

Overall cost was way too much.

loved the location of the hotel. very easy to find with lots of free parking. the hotel is very bright and very well decorated. the rooms are very comfortable and very spacious.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and on each time i stayed I found that house keeping enter the room at just after 10am. I feel the hotel should do something about this especially if the guests havent checked out. Check out time is 12noon which is great and the housekeeping is time enough entering the room after this time unless guests have checked out earlier.

Room was spotless and very comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner in the bar, all meals were of the highest quality, the deserts were divine and the atmosphere was relaxed and very child friendly. I could not recommend the Riverside hotel high enough and will definitely be making a return visit. Also the staff are impeccable, very efficient, courteous and friendly with excellent attitudes to their work.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Everything about the trip was fantastic. Beautiful hotel, friendly & very helpful staff, nice room, great breakfast each morning & lovely dinner each night in the moonings restaurant & the Alamo restaurant served fabulous food also. Great bar also perfect to sit back & relax.

The hotel is in a nice location overlooking the slaney.As you enter the hotel you notice It has a nice light and airy feel.The staff were very friendly and the room was very spacious and well presented.And the bar was nice as well.And the breakfast was very nice and was freshly prepared as opposed to a buffet which I much prefer.

The food at the Alamo restaurant was excellent with large portions. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool.

The room was in excellent order and the housekeeping staff provided a generous amount of complimentary water, tea and coffee. The food in the Alamo restaurant was excellent.

The batteries in the remote control were not working. (However they were replaced as soon as we we made the request). I feel only serving breakfast until 10am is to early, as Any one going away for a relaxing break like to lie in.

The room was a decent size and clean. Food in the bar was tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Our only complaint was that that the water in the pool was too cold. It was our young daughters first swim and this didn't help!

The rooms were really nice and small balcony was a nice touch.

I paid cash on arrival and my card was also charged so need to watch out for that. Also on leaving the hotel the staff tried to charge me for a carlsberg and a coke which I did not purchase.

Brenda on reception was great as were most staff, room was fab, kids loved it!

Alamo restaurant was a big let down. I presummed there would be more than the ususal burger/sausage meals for kids seen as it is a steakhouse. Also quality of food was very adverage.

Lovely hotel, beautiful very comfortable room with balcony. lovely view overlooking the river. Nice and relaxing and comfortable stay.

I thought the lift could have been alot cleaner for a 4 star hotel. Window in the bar was broken and cold breeze came in.

Staff organised an early check in as attending a wedding & needed to get changed as travelling down from Dublin.check in was at 3 & so was wedding but called on the morning & they made it available for check in whatever time.

Called down at 9.30 for breakfast to the room-was told this was not possible.i called them again as not happy with that-the room was €145.00 per night & I felt 9.30 was early enough to order.girl said she would check with manager.she then said it was ok.think this shouldn't be an issue-I have stayed in hotels for less at 11.30 & hasn't been any issues.
