Wonderful,
Score from 128 reviews
“ We had an excellent stay in every respect and could not find fault with it. The room and bathroom were excellent. We also staye in the Strand hotel in Limerick and the Savoy outclassed it by a mile in the details with regard to towels and other deft touches. ”

liked the decor and the spacious feel of the rooms. Loved the beds, best bed ever with the best pillows ever too. Also the aroma in the main entrance hall was lovely. Great hotel.Staff lovely and was delighted you allowed me leave my bag there all day, it was a great help. Thanks to all. Sinks and toilet a little hard to flush and empty. My room no was 719.

We had an excellent stay in every respect and could not find fault with it. The room and bathroom were excellent. We also staye in the Strand hotel in Limerick and the Savoy outclassed it by a mile in the details with regard to towels and other deft touches. Our only comment in the negative was the room was quite warm at night.

We were very happy with the location, it was central. It was a nice quiet hotel and they serve breakfast until 12. The gym had good equipment but it was very small.

The staff we're extremely helpful and welcoming. The rooms were most comfortable. The breakfast was of a high standard. The Hamptons restaurant offered us one of the best dining experiences we have ever had in a hotel. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I would certainly hope to stay in The Savoy again. Breakfast, though very tasty, didn't offer great value for money @ €14 per continental breakfast. The bedrooms, while they were lovely, clean and very comfortable, were not five star standard.

The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The breakfast makes everything worth while. The staff are friendly, though the reception better than the dining staff. We noticed the dining staff do tend to treat those that look wealthier with more respect, which should not be the case. Very clean and great location. The steam room and spa were not functional, we booked on that basis. My colleague got a rash from the pool, we suspect despite looking clean it had not been cleaned for some time. For a 5 star hotel you would expect slippers in the rooms, it felt like because we got the discounted booking.com rate, corners had been cut, which is not acceptable.

I loved the bed! I've stayed in MANY hotels and it's the first time I have had a great night's sleep. My partner agreed felt the same. We'll be staying again! Nothing! All was perfect.

We traveled Ireland for two weeks and were in a different hotel almost every night. This was by far the best of all! We wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was wonderful, the bed, the staff and the location! Couldn't say enough nice things. Everything was wonderful!

Location, Breakfast, Problem-resolution by check-out staff. Lazy night-porter who refused to serve residents a drink at 12.30am. I discovered the next morning that he should have and that my room included use of executive lounge.

comfortable surroundings, good food, friendly staff we stayed on the 7&8 Dec 2012. On the early morning of the 9th we were woken by what sounded like a riot outside our room. Lots of roaring and shouting which went on for a long time. We didn't sleep after that. The reception said that they did have a disturbance and had to remove somebody. This spoiled an otherwise enjoyable visit. I think it was probably an Xmas party crowd.
