Loved everything about our stay. Upgraded to a suite on arrival. Great location. Pure Luxury. Fabulous breakfast. Can't wait to stay again
Good professional service and the general feeling of high quality throughout. The breakfast was excellent and the concierge looked after us very well with respect to valet parking.
From porter to Manager, all were exceptionally friendly. Great facilities, nice bar, good restaurant

Location and staff
Difficult to find fault
This was the first time that we have stayed in this hotel, it was without a doubt amazing. Staff - brilliant Food - expensive but very impressive, especially the breakfast. I would stay again without a heart beat if I got the same deal. They upgraded us because it was the first time we had been away from our children since they were born - 5 years ago. Location was excellent, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Very much looking forward to staying at the Shelbourne again.
Weather was rubbish - but hey, the hotel can't do anything about that.
The breakfast is georgeous and the refurbished deluxe king rooms are very stylish.
The girl who checked me in said the room might not be ready to 4.30 as they were busy and gave rxcuses such as late checkouts. Standard checkintime is 3 , she was v negative about it instead of being positive
Everything except my dislikes
I booked a deluxe king room and when i arrived this was a twin room! We were not happy with this! They should have been more clear about this!!
the staff were lovely...the food was delicious and the room was warm and bed comfy.
The residents area and no 27 bar both had fusty dirty smell in it. The person we registered with pointed out that we were in the deluxe room....!! However, room was small and not as nice as we had expected. Hotel bedroom not as grand as we expected. Have stayed in 4star hotels with much nicer rooms...and better value
The hotel room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The hotel is breath taking - the lobby was very inviting. It is all that I expected from what I saw online when I booked. The staff was warm, friendly and very professional
Wish I had a better view from my room but considering we registered late that was not surprising and really not an issue.
We were lucky to get an upgrade to a suite which made our stay even more special. The staff are friendly efficient and professional. The breakfast offers a wide range of choice and all of a high quality.
We have stayed many times and hope to again. No complaints at all.
Location Addition of spa since my last stay.
Expensive room that did not include breakfast. Many staff are uncomfortable to deal with, I feel that some are not naturally friendly, and this makes encounters feel odd.
Utmost luxury, very attentive staff a real treat, would highly recommend as it is also so close to the centre of the city and the public transport.
air conditioning.....not strong enough on highest setting with weather outside cool. Also tub deep and no slip pad
The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Staff very helpful and fulfilled any requests with a smile and speed. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable.
was not impressed with the food ordered from room service, 2 steak sandwiches one with fries and one with salad. both came with fries and it was truly a sad sandwich for the price, not good value for the lack of quality
The Shelbourne did not disappoint in any way, the staff, food and ambience were impeccable.
Not staying longer !
There was a great buzz about the place. Enjoyed the Jazz Brunch on Sunday. Food was good.
Aircon was noisy, sky sports1,2,&3would not work so i missed Rory winning the golf.only one bathrobe in the room.Petie feurs did not arrive to room for my birthday which my daughter had organised with the hotel ,that little thing was dissappointing.
Everything! Each member of staff was very friendly and enjoyed the extra touches such as home-made lemonade on check in, lemonade and chocolate delivered to our room and bottled water on our lockers when we returned from dinner later that evening.
Wonderful location Friendly and knowledgeable staff Comfortable rooms Wonderful food
It took over 1 hour and 45 minutes to get our car back.
Superb in every way .
Very pleasant staff and nice ambience.
Room door was letting a lot of light in from the corridor at night, difficult to sleep although bed was extremely comfortable (small moan).
Staff are great, what ever you need they will sort it
The staff were the best we have encountered. Without doubt, I will be both returning and recommending The Shelbourne Hotel.
I can honestly say that there was nothing that we found fault with.
Welcoming staff and excellent luxury room with all the mod-cons. Dinner in the restaurant was exceptional and would recommend the taster menu........make sure you’re hungry!
A waiter service at breakfast, instead of the buffet style approach, would have capped things off nicely.
