I stay here a lot when I am in Ireland. I like that there is an on site laundry, free wifi, nice kitchen facilities, free breakfast, towel rental and it's close to bus and train access as well as being close to all the places in the city.

It was great that it was so close 2 everything and was open 24 hours and the staff were very helpful.

That room was a bit small but it was fine.

the bar next to it, it is in the center of the city, the staff was very friendly and they allow us to leave our bags in the luggage room and it was very helpful. The breakfast was OK you can buy your food and cook without any problem.

the wi-fi only work near to the kitchen and our room was far from it

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I did a 5 week Europe trip and this hostel was my absolute favorite. It is in a perfect location, steps to trinity college and a block from temple bar. It is so clean and comfortable! The bed linens were starch white and comfy. Underneath all the beds are rolling drawer cages that lock which keeps all your valuables safe. The kitchen area is awesome too! Free breakfast! The staff was nice and very helpful. I love this place!

Although I knew it was/is a hostel I paid hotel prices for it. The bunk beds creaked like mad with every small movement and the shower was vastly under powered and wasn't attached to the wall (so one hand taken up holding the darned thing). As a hostel - great, but then don't charge hotel prices.

Staff were extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. Exceptional customer service.

Close to where I needed

There was a lot of noise from outside, but you could expect that on a friday eveningm so close to the city centre

The staffs are friendly and the room is quite clean. The location is very good and the hostel is in front of the trinity college.

However, the room we stay was in a very strange place in the hostel. It's far not only from the reception but also kitchen and laundry room.

after knocking on our bedroom door a staff member let himself into our room while we were changing. This was terrible, I also got no satisfaction when I phoned to complain, it would seem that it is common practice.

We really liked the location. The hostel is located close to all important areas of the town and you can be almost everywhere in like 5- 10 minutes walk. The staff was kind and aware of good places and had valuable information whenever we asked for tips.

Although cleanliness was good enough it could definitely be better. You could see dust and hairs at the floor. However linens were very clean. We specifically asked for a quiet room away of noise, but we got a room that had a view at one of the most noisy roads of the city with police and fire department close which increased the noise even more. We asked for room change the next day of our arrival but everything was already booked of course. The breakfast could have been of better quality. We felt like being served the cheapest products like milk, bread etc. In the end we felt for the price we paid for a private double we could have find something better.

Price + Bathroom + it looked like a place to meet new people, even though I wasn't interested in that this time.

I loved everything about it! Everybody was so nice and the room well heated ( it was veeeery cold outside). They offered the dinner on wensday, cheese and wine on tuesday, and something elseon friday. Breakfast was good and on saturday-sunday we had pancakes.

Unfortunately there wasnt any closet in the room, I stayed 5 nights so the room ended up being messy
