Very nice in every way, would definatly stay again
for central Dublin it was quiet
the room was too warm
Good access to City centre. Plenty of good restaurants, bars & shops near by. Excellent breakfast set us up for the day.
Bedroom at rear of hotel was not good due to noise of delivery vehicles operating below.
Ideal central location, low price, everything decent quality, helpful staff. Initially slightly ropey and smoky room, but they were happy to move us to another.
Perhaps a little noisy, but that's inevitable with the location. More non-cooked options for breakfast would have been good, but that's hardly a devastating criticism.
The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is great close to city centre and shopping streets of the north side. The single room was comfortable and its size was big enough. Its bathroom was very spacious. Comfy bed.
The shower room was clean but looked dirthy from the plenty of mould on the tile gaps. The tempreture of the room could not be adjusted. It was too hot at night. No noise isolation on the windows. Good idea to bring earplugs. But this is a general good advice for anyone staying in any hotel, especially in Dublin where Saturday nights are so just loud. On the last night the alarm went off 3 times because some guests were trying to smoke in their rooms. Certainly this is not the fault of the Hotel, stupid guests can happen to stay everywhere :(
The bed gave me chronic back ache!
Great location Day staff, owners? Marvellous , very helpful. Free Wifi was strong Breakfast was very good value for money Has a elevator
Night staff guy had average grasp of English
Just loved the place can't fault it in anyway.
Nothing I didn't like
The location is amazing and the staff is so friendly that make pour stay very special.
The only shortfall would be the shower that was too small. For family room should have a bath. It a challenge to for me to give a shower to my daughter.
Very good location. Friendly and helpfull staff.
The room interior was dated. Dodgy paint job on doors (not finished?). Noise from neighboing rooms.
The hotel is 5 min walk from the city center, cosy, clean, nice traditional Irish breakfast, very friendly personnel. Bed was very comfortable.
two separate taps with cold and hot water.
An excellent location. The staff were lovely and always happy to help. The breakfasts were served In a lovely dining room and were exceptionally good. All in all excellent value for money.
The one problem was quite a bit of mould in the bathroom under the rim of the vanity basin which was a bit off putting when everything else was so clean and good.
- not very clean - thin walls - poor room equipment - dirty rooms (especially showers)
Breakfast was great! One maintenance issue with our room was immediately resolved. Great and friendly staff. Perfect location. Very nice room.
old room, not very clean, very noisy because of the close lift, bed lamp broken, safe not working, told the reception: in 4 nights were never fixed
Great location, very comfortable room, friendly staff. Fantastic stay!
Unlike many hotel corridors this was a pleasure to walk along. The room was very attractive - well "appointed", good state of decor. Almost perfect. Nice Juliette balconies. Breakfast OK.
One door on the balcony wouldn't shut properly - rattled during night. Either because or otherwise, until about midnight room very noisy - parties or other revelling. At about 4am I got an un-asked-for alarm call. My complaint (in the morning) was dismissed by the receptionist as she "only started at 7am" (not that anyone could have done anything) Awful night's sleep overall
I keep coming back to Townhouse - It is really a great place.
wi fi staff excellent warm welcome
fan noisy in bathroom lack of coat hangers for trousers
food, staff, location, all great, comfort, bed all great.
price, a bit steep, my friend stayed somewhere else in Dublin same time for less and he had a swimming pool and sauna. for less, local cabbie couldnt believe what I paid. I stayed in same street since mid eighties, it was Ten punts a night then
The hotel was in a great location with easy access to most everything. The staff are absolutely the best and helped make our stay in Dublin wonderful They are helpful and friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. Easy luggage storage upon check out because our flight wasn't until the evening..
Our room was super small! It was a triple so they are generally going to cram an extra bed in a normal size room so I have come to expect cramped when travelling with three people, but this room was even smaller than normal. It was also on the ally so was noisy in the morning and at night.
All basic facilities were well prepared and catered for. Room was clean and well maintained. Bathroom was fully functional.
Bathroom a little claustrophobic no room for toiletries. WiFi mediocre. TV limited channels
everything cant say a bad thing all staff is great, room, parking, location and price are just right.
Very clean, nice staff and excellent location
