The Twelve is 4-star boutique hotel situated in the seaside village of Bearna, 10 miles from Galway. It has luxurious rooms with free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, gastro pub and spa. When we arrived we had our 3 year old with us..but we had only booked one double room. The receptionist asked us if we would like a bed for our little girl...she said she could give us a bigger room and get a bed made up for her. It was a lovely big room and our daughter loved her own bed. The service throughout our stay was really great- everyone was very helpful and friendly. The biggest plus was value for money- we paid 100 euro for bed and breakfast and the food was excellent- the breakfast was really lovely and the variety on offer was fantastic We will be back and will highly recommend it to our friends. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time with friends celebrating a 50th birthday . The Staff were excellent the facilities top draw and our party dinner was first class. do not need an excuse to visit again, Brilliant

First impression was good-friendly staff-bright and airy feel to the hotel.Good varied selection on the menue and good selection of drinks at the bar.Excellent location with good shops and restaurants within walking distance.Very central Good breakfast and a nice touch re the coffee for free at the shop next door Unfortunately there was a few negative points We had to get out of the way at the bar to facilitate a hen party.There was a rugby match/Golf on the tv at the time and it was not available on tv in our bedroom,in fact half the tv channels on the tv in the bedroom were not working We had no one to take our bags to the room on arrival and when leaving we had no lift in operation to bring bags down. We also felt that for a Sat night in the middle of the tourist season we should have had some entertainment in the Hotel

Arrived and first impressions of entering the hotel were that the doors looked like the emergency exit. However, once inside the receptionist was friendly. Didn't like the iced tea though. A coffee would have been nicer. Rooms very spacious and very comfortable. Love the mood lighting in the bathroom. Pillows were the most comfy I've ever had. Donnellys across the road served a lovely meal at great value. The room was not properly hovered before we were given it. Clipped finger nails could be seen behind the dresser. The wardrobe should have a light of some sort as it is very dim on that side of the room. It is also difficult to see what is in the mini bar. The 'low batt' warning was on in the safe which didn't inspire confidence. The shower is overly complicated and the tap on the sink is too close to the edge. The sink itself is very impressive

The room was very clean and comfortable with a lot of extra features. As we were only staying one night we didn't use any of those things. The staff were friendly and efficient and the breakfast was excellent apart from the coffee, which was horrible. I left my necklace behind and the management/ reception contacted me later that evening and sent it on the next day. Thank you. I don't like the decor. Everything is very dark and gloomy and there was a lot of noise in the courtyard into the early hours.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel the staff friendly and helpful the room ( family) was comfortable and a spacious and the food superb (the eggs benedict heavenly). Would highly recommend it and will definitely return.

Ottima accoglienza dello staff. Camere spaziose, confortevoli e pulite. Colazione ottima ed abbondante. Vicino a Galway e attraversando la strada si è sul mare. Un po' freddina la reception ma ben sopportata dal personale molto gentile e disponibile. Da curare un po' meglio la pulizia degli spazi comuni.

Great restaurant - the West. Comfortable bed. Car parking facilities. Breakfast not included in the price. This was not made clear until after I had filled in booking form. The lighting was not good when checking in - could not read the literature given to me by the receptionist, Also the lighting was poor in the bedroom.
