Everything, from the moment we arrived, wonderful warm reception, comfortable bed, clean room, fab breakfast. Would go back, infact I can't wait.

Every member of staff was cheerful, professional, and helpful way beyond there job description. Especially the wonderful Hungarian girl on reception and Igore in dining room. I have a walking difficulty and their kindness was appreciated.

The heavy dark decor especially in the corridors

the design of rooms, the breakfast was amazing! well thought out and tasty. the staff was very kind, helpful. the hotel doesn't feel like you are just a number, it's small enough to feel cozy. also we preferred to have drinks at the bar at night, is a place that locals enjoy so was great on st pats. also friendly to families, very low key clean stylish place.

The staff were so helpfull, We were made to feel very welcome from the time we arrived to the time we left. The resturant was very nice and the standard was excellent.

The spa could have been more advertised perhaps it would be good idea to offer guests a showaround the spa area .

I loved the extras like a voucher for a coffee for your drive home, the little sweettreats left in the room and the lovely organic shampoo and conditioner!

The service was impeccable. The hotel was stunning with a fantastic restaurant and location. Was so impressed with our stay and will definitely come back.

Locks on the toilet doors are a bit dodgy and the dispensers for shampoo etc could be filled more often as we couldnt get much out of them and that was a shame as the products were amazing!

Fabulous hotel from the food to the staff. Our room was beautiful and the little touches really stood out such as hand written note to welcome me and chocolate covered strawberries and shortbread to greet me in my room. Definitely staying again!

The DVD player was temperamental so we couldn't watch the DVDs we had been looking forward to.

Beautiful spacious rooms and large king size bed meant our stay was very comfortable.The staff were excellent, went out of their way to make our stay a very pleasant one, from a pastry and chocolate coated strawberries on our arrival, to a complimentary coffee in the bakery on departure which was an excellent touch. The facilities were also excellent, proper hairdryer (not one of those annoying ones that you have to keep your finger on the button to keep it on) iron and ironing board in room, wine glasses and proper drinks glasses, coffee percolater as well as a kettle. Lovely shower and organic seaweed toiletries ( including conditioner which most hotels don't have) meant all we needed to bring was tootghbrush and toothpaste! I would definitely recommend this hotel. The West restaurant also was delicious, we decided we only wanted a main course, but were given bread to start, and the chef himself came out with a mini taster for us of the soup of the day in a very cute wee cup with a small slice of homebaked brown bread which was absolutely delicious. It is pricey but well worth it for a special treat and service was excellent.

One minor let down at breakfast - the food was lovely and the staff again were very friendly. However I think where we were seated on the first 2 mornings was not the best as we could not get the waiters attention to ask for coffee refill. They served the coffee in small cups and we had to go up to the bar to ask for more. On our last morning the waitress on duty did come over to us to offer refills without us having to ask which did make up for the previous 2 mornings. Also my other half is an extremely fussy eater (with emphasis on the extreme) and will only eat fruit or a fruit smoothie in the morning. They did have pre-cut fruit salad but certain things in that did not meet his strict dietary requirements so while I was tucking in to my poached eggs or mini breakfast (which was excellent by the way) he was not too happy that he did not get any value at all for paying the extra for breakfast. We have stayed in other hotels 3* and 4* that have had fresh fruit set out so that he can choose a banana, apple, pear etc...but as I say that is his problem for being fussy! I throughly enjoyed my breakfasts once I got my coffee refill!

The room was not as clean as I expected with coffee machine not clean and the shaving mirror broken and at a strange height

Friendly, confortable, great layout, beautiful design and decor. Bed rooms are roomly and well appointed.

Need some bright lighting for make-up etc.

The food in The West Restaurant was top class and the service very good with very pleasant staff. Bedrooms very spacious with ironing board, iron etc on hand and also tea/coffee facilities. Bathroom was ultra modern with colour changing lights. Complimentary takeaway tea/coffee from adjoining Bakery on departure - nice touch!

My - first impression of room and corridor leading to it was - it was very dark but that was due to decor

- Its well above Irish standard - Nice and modern rooms, well equipped - Good breakfast - Bit outside Galway but nice area

The hotel was amazing! The staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything you need. We just stayed in a double room and it was massive, clean and quite luxurious especially for the cheap price we paid. The pins bistro bar and restaurant serves amazing food and the service is great, the prices are also quite cheap as well. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and had lots of lovely pastries from their bakery. All in all a perfect hotel and would go back in an instant.

Friendly and helpful staff. Modern bedroom with eclectic features . Loved the atmosphere and quality of service in the bar area , also the fact it is a local bar well used by the villagers and not just occupied by tourists. The quality of the food in the restaurant was excellent and wine prices were very reasonable.

Low level of lighting in bedroom and bathroom- no good for applying make- up. Could be quite noisy late at night if window was open as our bedroom was over the outdoor smoking area though we were there on a Friday and Saturday night with wedding receptions there on both days.

Just a lovely warm feeling to the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic.

When we arrived we had our 3 year old with us..but we had only booked one double room. The receptionist asked us if we would like a bed for our little girl...she said she could give us a bigger room and get a bed made up for her. It was a lovely big room and our daughter loved her own bed. The service throughout our stay was really great- everyone was very helpful and friendly. The biggest plus was value for money- we paid 100 euro for bed and breakfast and the food was excellent- the breakfast was really lovely and the variety on offer was fantastic We will be back and will highly recommend it to our friends. Thank you!

We loved the location, friendly welcome and staff were very helpfull. Room very romantic great food ,cant wait to go back.

The only thing we did not like was having to leave.
