Extremely helpful staff. I found the dining room rather dark and cheerless but this was only a minor irritant. |

Location couldn't be better both in terms of transport and access to the town (both less than 5 mins walk). Bar excellent. Very well run. Could be e bit noisey first thing in the morning as near coach station |

location, breakfast poor reception on tv and lack of reasonable choice no sky news etc, irritating having to smoke outside the front door and ask the porter to open the front door after normal bar hours. |

Friendly staff and good food. Central location but easy to enter and exit. Having to pay and walk to and from parking. Some refurbishment of the interior is due. |

i really liked its central location in galway city, the staff were lovely. would definitely stay there again. food was lovely too. there was air conditioning fans outside my window, and the constant hum made for a poor nites sleep. had to buy ear plugs.. |

They held luggage while I took a side trip. The bed pillows were too skimpy. |

Its locality is great for bus and train and shopping every thing at your doorstep. Keep windows closed to block out the noise but it didnt bother me but it may bother some people. |

One of the windows faced some sort of parking/manoeuvre area of a bus station, so there was a lot of noise in the morning. |

We liked the fact that the hotel was so central to everything in Galway City. There wasn't a great atmosphere in the bar. It would have been nice to be able to just stay in the bar for a night. |

My room was spacious. Really spacious. I had a corner room with a view of Lough Atalia from one window & the River Corrib from the other. The hotel is convenient to the city center & all transportation. I had a minor accident while in Galway & the receptionist handled all the details with professionalism & respect. I've already recommended the Victoria to my relatives in Galway. My stay was at the start of Galway raceweek, but even so there were no loud sound disturbances. A wonderful hotel. |

The location was very good to the city centre Some of the hotel was run down looking with stains on the carpets and paint pealing on the walls. Our room was overlooking the Bus Eireann Depo so we had the sound of the reversing alarm on the buses going from around 6.30am for about an hour. This not a nice sound to be woken up by on a Saturday morning. |

The room was comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order and offered good variety. Located close to shops, restaurants and the train station My room was opposite the door marked "staff". This was a little noisy as was the back of the hotel where I was situated. With the window open, it was a bit too noisy during the night. |

The room was comfortable and clean. The front desk was very courteous and helpful. The location was excellent The cleaning staff had breakfast in the room next to ours, and since they left the door open, they woke us up with their chatting. The rooms were also not particularly well insulated from sound, and discourteous guests woke us up in the early morning when returning to their rooms. |

The Food was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. the room was comfortable and the hotel was very well located. The cleaning staff made a lot of noise before 9am, moving furniture, vacumming etc. and talking loudly among themselves in the corridor and in the staff only room which had its door open.i think they should have waited at least until breakfast had finished. |
