The Victoria Hotel  

Sijainti oli hyvä, lähellä bussi- ja rautatieasemia. Aamupala perinteinen, kuitenkin riittävä ja ihan maukaskin.

Henkilökunta tuijotti mielummin tietokoneruutua kuin katsoi asiakkaaseen. Merelle päin olevista ikkunoista veti reippaasti.

I enjoyed the staff. They were attentive and friendly. The room was perfect for a single traveler. The location was excellent in that I was just off of Eyre Square. Everything was within walking distance. There is a pub not far from the hotel which features music every night.

If you stay on the upper floor, don't expect to get a steady stream of water in the shower. Pressure is down at the top for water. You can get wifi but not in your room. You need to go down to either the pub, the restaurant or a little waiting room off the side of the reception area. I did not find this inconvenient but others might.

Most comfortable stay I've ever had in a hotel. And that's no exaggeration! Room was fresh and comfortable and the perfect temperature. Bed was comfortable, one of those Goldilocks and the three bears "This bed is just right" moments. The bathroom was clean, well stocked and very well laid out. The shower was incredibly strong and refreshing and again very easy to use and to get just right! Staff were polite and very helpful, breakfast was good value and delicious with a nice and varied menu. There were Christmas candles burning in the lobby which gave the place a lovely warm and cosy cinnamon feeling. Can't praise this hotel enough! I'll be staying here again many many times! Highly recommended

The room could have been brighter, but that's a very very very small complaint!

Lovely spacious,bright comfortable room. Very central for our stay in Galway.

Quite noisy on the saturday night/sunday morning but to be fair we were warned about this and had expected it. Not a big deal.

All the staff very helpful and efficient. Room quite large and very clean and airy. Certainly value for money. Hotel could do with an up- grade but is very acceptable as we are in the middle of a recession. Will stay there again.

The location was excellent

The bouncer was a bit aggressive in asking us if we were clients of the hotel when we were returning to our room at the end of the evening. The bathroom was freezing because there was no radiator in there.

The lighting in the hotel room was very dark at night. The room was cold in the evening as the heat didn't come on in the room until 8pm

It was very central, ideally located for a stay in the city centre.

There didn't seem to be many staff on duty. Bar staff seem to work in reception as well. Whilst checking out the receptionist was on the phone and just took the key and stamped the car park ticket. She didn't acknowledge us.
