the host and hostess were very nice the view from our room was excellent
we couldn't sleep at all because of all the noise from the room upstairs, who by the way were very noisy, the bed is just ok the room (same as seen in pics)and bathroom are very small
Mary and Tom are really friendly and gave us good recommendations for seeing the local area. When we arrived they recommended a decent restaurant and rang ahead to make sure we would get there before it closed.
It was all good.
Liked the location and the breakfast and mary was very helpfull.
Having to go
We like everything: beautiful views and house, nice and charming owner, and excellent location to approach other scenes. Mary and tom are very friendly and helpful. We feel like going home.
Everything. Great location overlooking a Lough. Surroundings quiet and peaceful. Hosts very helpful. Sightseeing nearby and good meal at Golfclub not far away. Room was large, Internet good. Nil noise. Breakfast was very good and ample.
Very clean room. Nice location right on the lake. Well priced for a basic double room compared to rest of UK.
Room very small. We felt like young kids being a little bossed around by the host. We appreciate that might just be the way they are, but as people in our forties, it made us feel uncomfortable.
The views from the bedroom window of the lake were beautiful. very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Quiet rural location overlooking lake.
Location View on the lake Charm
The owner is a bit ... directive
Marys breakfast and home made bread..
No compliants .
I liked the way Mary baked the soda bread and scones each day. And the bacon and sausages were very good.
The room was cold at night. The wifi signal was sometimes a bit weak.
Mary our host was always on hand if needed, the breakfast was good and the location was idyllic beside the Lough. I would definitely stay here if I visit this area in the future.
noisy No choice re breakfast time
The location was stunning. The rooms were so clean and very homely, we could not find a fault at all. Beautiful and worth the money
It was clean
Too regimental about breakfast times and choices. Room a bit cramped with extra single bed. Bit overpriced No tea/ coffee in room. Like to have late night tea. Not possible when ready for bed
Great view of Lough Corrib. The room was clean and decorated very nicely. Comfy bed. Good breakfast. Advised us to eat dinner at nearby golf club which was very nice.
It was a bit hard to find. Breakfast only at certain times.
We received a very warm welcome and were made to feel at home. The room was spacious and comfortable with a spectacular view of the lake, which is literally directly in front of the property. Next time we'll bring our fishing rods and kayaks and stay for longer. It's so close to Galway that there's plenty to keep everyone entertained and the local restaurants are excellent.
Everything. So clean. A few places to sit including the lovely outdoor area. Bed very comfy. Brekky amazing!
room and bed too small (in particular for my husband)
Breakfast Views Mary @ Tom very helpful
little bit isolated
Friendly host. Very good breakfast. Lovely location by the water. Excellent location for seeing the west coast.
Set times for breakfast - would have preferred to choose the time ourselves.
Great location... Mary was the perfect host....
Very nice location, secluded in front of a lake perfect if you want some intimacy. Great breakfast and nice supportive staff, really focused on cleaness particularly if, as it happened to me, you enter with a 'cow gift' under your shoes.
Very far away from the main road and because of the lake you could find some bugs and flyes around the house.
A great place to stay , very nice location , lovely people , breakfast was excellent , rooms very nice & very clean .Simply brilliant , a must stay !!!!
