Sur les rives de la rivière Ballywater, à 10 minutes de marche de la plage et à 5 minutes de route de Drogheda, cet établissement historique datant du XIXe siècle propose un hébergement luxueux et une cuisine raffinée. Situé dans le petit village de Termonfeckin dans le comté de Louth, The Waterside bénéficie d'un emplacement idéal pour découvrir la région de Drogheda et Dundalk. Les amateurs de golf apprécieront les parcours de golf difficiles de Seapoint Golf Club et County Louth Golf Club à Baltray, facilement accessibles. Chambres impeccables, calme, petit déjeuner copieux Lenteur du service (mais c'était le lendemain de Noel) plus de 1/2 heure d'attente pour avoir le petit déjeuner. Du coup, cela a contrairé mes plans de visite .

Cozy,homely feeling about the hotel. Rooms very clean and modern. Very noisy from time to time (room above kitchen) only 4 stations on the tv even though website advertises Cable/Satellite tv.

the hotel room was clean and comfortable, the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, if looking for a quiet weekend away from all the hustle and bustle of city life then this sleepy village is ideal there was no entertainment in the hotel on the night we stayed, the hotel is situated in a small rural village and there was no other places of entertainment.

Just average they did not have a resevation for us ..i'd requested a nice room as my partners 50th but they seemed to know nothing too busy serving drinks and lunches.. Will not recommend.

Everything was as expected. The decor, comfort and particularly the cleanliness of the entire building was superb. ! The food was great too. Breakfast was a little haphazard but when it came it was great. ! Overall a great place to stay and the craic was mighty on the Saturday night. ! Well done all involved at the Waterside. Beautiful venue, pity there is no garden. !

The Waterside is a gem of a place. The decor is beautiful and the location is lovely, set right beside a river. The weather was good for our stay and the setting was idyllic. The room was small but beautifully furnished and the breakfast in the morning was great. We will be back!

Quiet room, extremely comfortable bed and pillows all kept spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful Outside decor is a bit dull and does not do justice to the interior

The shower was excellent , room very clean and bed comfortable but generally more like a bed and breakfast.More like a large pub/restaurant than hotel. No breakfast before 8 am which does not suit golfers who need to eat properly before a round of golf, especially when two courses are so close. A bit disappointed too that no bar food available around 8-9 pm either on night of arrival.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were also very comfortable. Only negative point was the we arrived after 9pm and there was no food available after 8:30

Accommodation very clean, comfortable and a fantastic breakfast! Great value for money! Felt the evening barman was slightly unfriendly bordering rude.

The staff was helpful, especially the barman, and went out of their way to get us to the airport in the wee dark hours of the morning. The down comforters were heavenly, the room immaculate. Be preparerd to share the music in the Pub downstairs if you stay on a Saturday evening as the sound goes through the entire Inn. I rather enjoyed it, but some might not, as it goes on until 1 AM. I wish we could have stayed longer.
