West County Hotel  

I liked the view from my hotel room. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was delicious.

The food was quite expensive.

Every thing, the staff were very friendly, the hotel is very clean lovely bar, food was excellent, value for money was great, and I have stayed there a few times now and will again so easy to get a bus out side the door to town so no need for the car, plenty of space for car in the car park.

I like the were a lot of space no noise quite and peaceful staff were very helpful friendly and know a lot of local information bus route was very convient

The hotel was very good value for money. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The hotel is comfortable and clean but rooms need updating. The shower was fiddly but ok once we got it going properly. The food is excellent including breakfast and carvery. We had a lovely stay. Thank you.

The location is ideal for travellers. The on site parking is much appreciated. The smiling helpful staff were delightful. I usually cause difficulty's by needed or wanting something outside the standard hotel fare. The staff at the West County went out of their way to assist me. They did so, not with a moan and groan about company policy but with smiling, laughing assurance. It was truly delightful.

smoking area at front makes hotel shabby looking, also car park could do with a bit of a tidy-up

Fantastic hotel. Who needs Modern when u ave the classic of West Country. One of the best stays for value we've ever ad.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent for quality and value for money. We had the Mothers Day dinner wish was very good.They also have a carvery dinner in the lounge bar which looked very tempting.Seemed to be a lot of local people eating in the carvery which is always a good sign.Stayed the night. The room was great value for money with free wifi. Breakfast was excellent with all the trimmings.All in all a great place to stay at a reasonable price.

An older hotel,there were rips on the seats in the bar,the heating must have been stuck on as on night we stayed it was stifling,,bar staff very gruff but reception and catering staff excellent.

great value for what we paid..very friendly welcome,,nothing to much trouble for the staff which were very friendly..bar area cosy..food very good..bedroom very clean everything we needed there and extra little touches...breakfast included which was fantastic and whatever we wanted

Friendly staff, great value for Sunday night B&B, free parking, buses to city centre directly opposite entrance (note: bus stop for travelling out from city 500 metres away beside N4 flyover) Good value & quality bar food inc. steak special great value. Easily accessed from M50/N4 inbound on slip road. Close to Phoenix Park & Zoo by car or bus. Also on direct bus route to Hueston mainline station, Liffey Valley & Square shopping centres. Large comfortable lounge bar, popular with local mature couples. Breakfast fine, nice cheap steak in the bar, with all the trimmings.

Not much, decor slightly 70's & quaint. Bathroom bit of a squeeze, but has a tub.

Staff were lovely and so was breakfast, lots of really hot water for a shower when i arrived in the afternoon.

room was a bit chilly till the heat came on around teatime, the selection of tv stations was limited to say the least.

There is a great Irish welcome in this hotel its has been a while since I received such a warm welcome. While this hotel may not be a 5 star hotel all the staff are top class and if rated would be way above the 5 star mark It is not very often you come across a gem like this one and I am looking forward to my next visit.
