Relaxing ambience in the very centre of the busy Dublin shopping area. Room was clean and well designed, bed extremely comfortable. Good quality soaps and shampoos in the bathroom. Attentive friendly staff. Minor grumble about having to use the room card to call lifts, which is fine when it works but when it doesn't work its annoying. Also felt a bit awkward arriving back at 1.30 am with the front doors locked, and having to show my room card for entry - I expect a 5* hotel to be open all hours and not to be asked for credentials when I come and go.

The location is terrific. The rooms, public and private, are very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is vastly over-priced and not good value. 29 euros for a breakfast for which you have to queue!

Its just the whole atmosphere, relaxing and private, yet outside you are in the middle of everything. Its just as the Westbury always is. You will know what I mean if you stay there.

The staff were very professional, efficient and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was central to everything, just a walk around the corner to Grafton Street and Temple Bar. The lounge areas was relaxing, served a great afternoon tea. The rooms were large and comfortable, as well as very quiet, so good nights sleep for all. I would recommend the Westbury to anyone who wants a good quality hotel in the centre of Dublin.

Location is great Building seems to have been designed for something else. Reception is on the first floor -- always a dodgy sign.

I liked everything about the hotel. The fact that the car was parked for us started our stay off perfectly. The decor, the staff and the facilities were perfect. The location just off Grafton street was ideal. Will definetly be staying again.

Location and the hotel services. Every person I have met in the hotel was really friendly to me. The room cleaniess can surely be improved a little. They don't provide cotton tick in the bathroom, but I found a used cotton tick on the ground under the seat.

THe Westbury Hotel was in an excellent location in central Dublin. The Hotel is located near the major attractions and within easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We travelled to Dublin for St. Patrick's Day and the hotel was in the heart of the festivities. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. The hotel is a 5 star hotel and is priced accordingly. It is a tad on the high side compared to some other hotels in the area. However, I would consider the hotel worth the money if you can afford to spend a little extra.

We arrived by car and after a little difficulty finding the hotel (despite having stayed there before) were greeted by the valet, who was exceptionally helpful and friendly. He took the car keys and lifted the bags from the boot and brought them upstairs to reception. We were not able to get in to the room as check in is not until after 3.00pm .However we had family to meet so this was not such an issue....we were informed at this point that we had been upgraded to a studio suite( Very plesant surprise). When we returned to the hotel after 7.00pm, we were delighted with the room and the fact that our bags had already been delivered. The room was exceptional..space and luxury.Everthing about the hotel was luxurious from the entrance to the lobby on the first floor. We spent the evening with friends on the first floor and were not disappointed by the service. All in all a fantastic hotel, a great weekend and look forward to the next stay.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were treated so well by friendly helpful staff. Our every need was taken care of promptly. I had booked The Westbury for my Wife's Birthday weekend. She was sent a card, a cake and our room decorated with flower petals and a rose. Such a lovely touch. We would definitely return to the Westbury We had breakfast in the Cafe and unfortunately found the service to be very poor. However after complaining to a manger the problem was dealt with very satisfactorily with the assurance that it would continue to be monitored to insure a high standard would be maintained in the future. As the service in the rest of the hotel was excellent I would be confident that it will be sorted.
