Spent 3 nights in the Citypoint apartments with my wife and our 1 year old. Had a two bedroom apartment with great views of galway city and which was ideal for the little fella. He loved tipping around in his walker as he had so much room! Fab apartments, great facilities,Brilliant location,`very safe, your given a zapper for the gate to get into the underground car park and a code for the door into the lift and also on to the street. Loved my few days there and it made holidaying with an infant a pleasure which we all know...is not always the case and it can all depend on the accommodation!! Will definitely stay again! Nothing...honestly can't say a bad word about the hotel apartments, i'd only be pulling at straws!

Our apartment was on the 4th floor with a gorgeous view of Galway Bay and out to the Burren. One block to Eyre Square and around the corner from Marks & Sparks food hall. Dunnes was a block away also so buying groceries was a snap.

The apartments were very spacious and luxurious, ideal for a family who don't want to be separated in hotel rooms. Loads of space and a home from home really. Toiletries, washing up liquid etc. were provided. Loads of wardrobe space. The roof top terrace is fabulous with views all over the city. Also the secure parking was great. I would certainly stay there again and would highly recommend them. We ate in the Western Hotel, 2 mins from the apartments and the food was excellent and good value for money. The dining room staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartments are very central to everything and just at the top of Eyre Square.

Generally Hotel apartments are very small but the Citypoint Apartments was very spacious, new, clean and cozy We It also had a kitchen with many facilities We liked it a lot I would like them to have a cafetiére or a coffee machine besides the kettle.already there. I also thought strange that staying 3 nights as we did, the rate is per night but if we stay more than 7 nights, besides the daily rate we would have to pay for bills such as electricity. It makes no sense for customers to be penalized for staying longer!!!!

The apartment was so modern. We had Hugh balcony overlooking eyre square. Excellent. Will be staying again. We stayed for race week so the apartment was very very expensive. The lifts in the building were very slow at times.

the privacy The description stated all the home comforts, I would have expected a dvd player (to entertain small children) to be included in this. Also, whilst the reviews stated that the apartments were child friendly I was slightly concerned about the type of furniture - glass tables with sharp points

Good stocked kitchen - so useful. Seemed very secure. Central. Good parking and great wifi. Blinds in double bedroom were broken and bed squeaked a lot. There was only one, small body in the bed so I dread to think what it would be like with 2 people!

Right in the heart of Galway -- family enjoyed the probity to shopping centre. Ultra modern. Kitchen was equipped with what you needed to prepare simple meals. We stayed 4 nights. The only downside was that, unlike a hotel, there is no daily cleaning or re-stocking of clean towels etc. Other than that, we would recommend this as a fabulous alternative to a hotel room!!

The apartment was beautiful, in a fantastic location, convenient car park and staff were friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast in served between 7-10, I feel this is very early, even if the time was 10:30 or 11 it would be much more convenient, 10 o'clock is very early for those who would like to relax and have a goods night sleep.

The location was excellent. The apartments were spacious, clean and had everything you would need. I didnt like the system of checking in at the Western Hotel. I know Galway well so it wasnt too bad for us to find the car park but I would suspect people not familiar with Galway would find it stressful, especially as it is difficult to park to check in and you wont get key fob for car park until youve checked in. I also found the common areas (stairwells etc) quite dirty, Sticky floors from spilled drink and some rubbish from obvious weekend party goers evident in many common areas - this was in stark comparison to the spotless apartments. I also found the Receptionist in the Western disinterested in any conversation and not at all welcoming. I was glad we would have no other dealings with her other than on check out. THere was nothing you could complain about her manner but it was not at all welcoming or helpful.

Secure underground parking Great facilities Lovely views of the city I stayed midweek and the noise of the traffic was unbearable. Did not sleep a wink. Situated on the corner of two very busy streets with giant windows that are not soundproofed well enough.

the apartment was handy to town carparking and wifi having an apartment with the same cost as a hotel is great but the + side its like a house away from home , so you can really relax in the end of the day Maintenance could be looked at a bit more as 2 lights had blowen , the ironing board was very small u had to sit on a chair to make it happen

These apt are fab very modern excellent location if you do not need to sleep We got no sleep with a stag party two apt away and a hen party above us (not as loud as the stag) There is no porter in this building it needs someone there on hand when noise level rise.. Ringing through to reception made no difference. Not the fault of the nice receptionists when we stated this in the morning she spoke to management and we got a refund of over one quarter of bill.I Would not have booked this if I had known it was popular with hen and stag partys.
