There's nowhere to park your car as you check in at the western hotel. There's no one at the lobby of the apartment building. The Galway youth appears to know this and rents appartments to organize big parties. We didn't sleep.
The living room was absolutely fabulous with all glass windows and the view of the Eyre Square. Wow!
The location was great, the apartments are very comfy and very modern. While they are located right at the heart of Galway City they are very quiet. They are within a few minutes of some great shops, good restaurants and bars...
Getting out of the carpark because of where the exit is located was difficult due to one way system in place.
Wanted two double rooms to sleep four (not couples) going by website photos had two beds in each room, that was not the case, after telling receptionist, we managed to swap for two single beds and one double, with fourth guest sleeping on coutch, very missleading!
we liked where it was situated beside all the shops nightlife and you could go for lovely walks out to salthill.
Great space in the apartments and great price
Could do with locks on bathroom door and door to balcony
The location, space and facilities are very good. This is my third time to stay here.
The only fault I have is that the smoke alarm is over sensitive. I could not cook anything because an ear piercing alarm kept going off, no matter how low I kept the temperature.
Great location right in the heart of the city with free parking under the building. Very nice kitchen to prepare breakfast. Spacious showers with good water pressure. Free wifi was useful. Nice leather couches and good size TV. Very reasonable rate.
Wifi signal could have been stronger. Location was not signposted and was a little hard to find.
Location, lovely accommodation, very convenient for group stays just beware of 250€ security deposit on top of bill!!
Upon arrival we had to pay 250€ of a security deposit. That was 250€ of our cash as we did not have a credit card. This was completely unnecessary and I was more disgusted when I was speaking to another guest who had children and she did not have to pay the 250€ security deposit. This left my three friends and I feeling like we had only been charged this fee as we are in our early 20s. We felt completely discriminated against. And to add insult to injury my friend had the security deposit in her bag after we checked out, and her purse got stolen in the shopping centre with the 250€ security deposit in it. She was left with no purse, no money and no way home. If it had not been for this completely inappropriate security deposit she would not be at loss of 250€. The lady at reception was lovely and is not to blame for us being charged this fee but I am disgusted and disappointed at the fact that we were charged and a family was not. We feel that we were charged because of our age not because it is a necessity. Amazing location and acclimation, staff are brilliant but the 'necessary' security deposit is a disgrace. There should be another system in place. It left a financial strain on our weekend as we do not have disposable incomes hence why we had no credit card between the four of us. It created a bad atmosphere for our weekend away. It also needs to be stated clearer when one is booking. If it had been I can asure you we would have found a more reasonable accomodation that is not going to assume we will wreck the accomodation. It was an insult to say the least.
Location excellent Apartments perfect for the large group Clean
On arrival in to our apartment we discovered that one of the floor to ceiling window panes was cracked and covered over with a sheet of wood, this was no mentioned to us at the time of booking in. The reception staff were bordering on rude while we were checking in. As the first person guests meet, this was a disappointing representation of the hotel.
We had issue with apartment, it was not clean and we had expected 3 beds instead of 2 as we were three friends staying(I accept this was our own error). When we asked about moving, the 'manager' was rude and unhelpful. To be honest, the location is the only good thing about this accomodation. Will not stay again!
Very convenient location for Eyre Square...
As I have a major fear of lifts I found the stairs accessibility not very good. ..tried to get down to car park from 3rd floor. .ended up having to go outside n walk down through gates with bags!!
Good location, perfect for family 2&2, toddler and baby, travel cot and high chair provided, stayed sun&mon night so very quiet, 2 bed apartments are toddler and baby proof
Double bed wasn't the most comfortable but it's a minor complaint
The location, the space in the living room and the view. Good shower.
Fan didn't work in the bathroom. The kitchen was poorly equipped. No bowls for cereal, a few glasses and plates. There was broken glass on the floor on arrival. The lampshade in the hall was broken and unsafely hanging directly on a lightbulb. Broken blinds in one of the bedrooms which was directly on to a public walkway. Party ongoing all night next door until 7am with very loud music. There was no one in the actual building to complain to.
clean and quite
Really good experience great location and lovely apartment would definitely visit again. Only issue is picking up keys from different location ok if your walking driving is different
Main door left open other guests dont close it should close automatically
We were upgraded to the penthouse which was perfect for our party, great views, lovely apartments, perfect location. Great weekend.
The tap water was undrinkable
The parking facilities were good to have and there was no additional charge for them. The Wifi was also great and had a strong signal throughout our stay. The quality of the apartment itself is of a high standard.
The apartment was not cleaned properly, the main light in the bedroom was blown and we had to get a replacement. There was food in the fridge from the previous guests stay. The duvet on the bed was dirty and not of a nice quality. The balcony just off the bedroom was littered with about 30-40 cigarette butts and was not nice to see.
There is nothing to dislike about the apartments, they are fantastic and would definitely stay again!!
The apartment was very spacious and clean. Very comfortable bedroom and living area. The bathroom was also a good size with no problems regarding hot water. We couldn't connect to our apartment's WiFi but reception quickly fixed this for us. Only a minutes walk to Eyre square. Great location for anyone wanting to explore Galway city!
The noise! Very loud throughout the night. Almost three hours of no sleep due to the noise below on the road. The kitchen didn't have many utensils but was fine for our short stay.
very comfy, great views, thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Really liked the location--close to bus station, on the edge of central shopping area, which is big and fascinating. Food, all dining types, in easy reach.
they forgot to supply a tea towel in the kitchen! Seriously, no complaints.
Exelent location in the heart of the city. Quiet. Spacious apartment.
location, staff, great apartment
Kitchen could do with a few more items to cook with....
location great place to relax with family and friends great kitchen and living room to accomodate entertaining
a bit confusing about the access and parking at first. Be sure to get explicit directions and pay attention to which of the 3 possible coded access doors is the correct one to use!
