I did not like the food . It was overcooked .
The bed was so uncomfortable I would have being better off on a park bench, and to make matters worse after the bar closed everyone stood outside laughing and talking so there was no way you could sleep. If you have an early flight plan on eating at the airport there is no food until after 9.00am
The people we met were great, staff included. The bar and the music was most pleasant. There was easy bus service to Dublin centre. It was close to a Spar (2.3 kilometers). Actually close to New Grange, as well.
It was the most expensive place we stayed at. 70 euro per night, no breakfast.
nice friendly little hotel with good food a nice bar not far from airport with good shuttle service
I chosen the white house hotel because I was traveling abroad and its very close to the airport!Staff is friendly, food and the room was ok!
Handy to airport Good value for money. For the price I got what I expected. Bar and restaurant more than acceptable for pub style accommodation.
Bed too small
I felt very welcome, the host/staff couldn't have been nicer. There was music in the bar downstairs, I enjoyed it, this is a good place to stay if you want to pop down to the bar for a while and you don't even have to drive home after! The food was very good.
The bar at the hotel we nice.
Rooms are dirty and mold was present and bed had stains on the bedding.
Staff and food quality. Nice place. Free Shuttle service.
No wifi in the bedroom.
My husband and I just spent two evenings at The White House. We were picked up at the airport by the hotel owner, Simon. He helped make our stay extra special by seeing that all our needs were met. Patricia greeted us each morning and made sure we knew where and when to get the bus. The food and service at the restaurant was fabulous! You will not go to bed hungry. There is a pitch and putt and foot-golf course on site; both reasonably priced and a load of fun. The hotel was very quite and cozy. Rooms are basic, but has everything we needed. Cannot say enough about this hidden gem!
staff and proprietor were excellent. loved the casual attmosphere in the bar/restaurant.
Almost everything - room - staff- pub - meals - prices - easy going attitude to guests but welcoming - great parking - -amenable to late check out - good bus access to Dublin and airpor
No toiletries for shower - shower operation temperamental at best
Very friendly owner who ensured I had everything I needed and could get to the airport in time.
Little bit noisy as over a pub but i slept fine and at this price and location, it was perfect
The room was very clean and taken care of.
I was given the wrong number to contact the shuttle. As a traveler from the US it was quite difficult for me to contact the hotel via phone, and the wrong number made matters worse. I incurred additional costs trying to figure out how to contact someone and when I arrived at the hotel and showed them that they gave me the wrong number no one apologized for their mistake, despite the fact that when the phone was answered I was questioned for not having used the correct number. In the morning I was walked in on by the cleaning staff. It seemed extremely avoidable, as I had not checked out yet and was only staying one night, so they were aware I was still there. It was only shortly after 10 am as well. I was quite upset to be walked in on while in bed, and again no one apologized.
Friendly staff and only 15 minutes from Dublin Great value for money
The rooms are above the bar and there was a singer there on the night I stayed so it was very noisy and I wasn't able to get to sleep until 1am which was bad as I was working the next morning The breakfast isn't served until 9am which is too late if you're working the next morning
The room was not clean and the lump was broken. Very noisy.
Our experience overall was good nice food n nice beers staff was always polite n very attentive always helpful. I would go bak but with more knowledge which is defo needed and would recommend the White House.
The buses that never turned up it's also very expensive for food n drink n also travel got charged €46 from dublin to white house n shud of bin half the fare.
the food was excellent, and the staff friendly
very difficult to find no postcode and very little directions as to finding it, room was very small and basic, the bathroom and shower were also basic had to turn the shower on with a pair of pliers which were supplied
It was our last night of our first trip to Ireland. We wanted to go to a pub and we were. The food was lovely and the pub atmosphere excellent. We liked the room, especially cause we could make our own coffee at 4 in the morning before leaving towards the airport. The rooms are very clean.
Clean, only 10-15 minutes from the airport if you can find it. The owner was really nice, although I can't say I'd stay here again.
It was difficult to find, and although the airport shuttle is free, you have to call it to have it arrive and then drive you to the airport. There's no way to do that without a working SIM card in Europe, so I had the owner call the night before. The shuttle was late and it stressed me out.
Friendly staff, nice room, excellent food and drink in the bar. Free shuttle to airport - took 20 minutes to arrive after calling. Absolute best value for money of anywhere in the locality.
Could not receive free Wi-Fi in my room, had to go to bar. Some noise in room from Band in the bar.
Staff were very helpfull and friendly
The free shuttle service was a plus. In From Doolin on a later train because of a bicyle race. Opted out of taking two buses to the hotel and took an express from the train station to airport and caught the free shuttle ride. The shuttle was on time for the very early 4am ride to airport in the morning. Played darts in the pub. Room was clean and the bed comfy. Staff was very friendly.
Where was the Yorkshire pudding? Barely made dinner time at 7 something. It was a Saturday night. Need a little more outside like an extra sitting place away from the bar noise to watch sunset or have a private drink would be lovely.
The staff were fantastic, best ever hot shower's.
