Great location and good advices from Chris the owner. This place is clean and close to the center of Doolin..Perfect place to stay
Nice and warm place to stay
perfect location, close to town, Cliffs of Moher friendly staff who also acted as a guide, telling us where things in town were good value for money
possible slight bit of confusion paying, I had no cash and needed to pay by credit card, didn't receive any receipt/paper trail, trust correct amount was charged
Friendly helpful owner and great location
No tv in the room. The coffee at breakfast wasn't good
The owner is a wonderful person and he can give you lots of useful advices! the position is really good too...just 2 steps far from Mc gann pub.
Not clean. Wi fi doesn't work well into the room and we had problem with the shower.
Great location, friendly staff, ensuite toilet/shower, comfy beds, wardrobes in room, walking distance to pubs etc. I would stay here again.
We were in a downstairs room by the owner's kitchen so we were woken up both mornings by the owner's radio, by breakfast preparations and by fellow guests chatting to the owner in the hallway outside our door. Our bathroom door needed trimming, it was difficult to close it without slamming it and hence waking my partner.
Good location, cozy room for three, affable hosts.
Beds were comfortable Location was good Friendly
Shower didn't work Too noisy -staff in mornings Breakfast was sparse and not very tasty.
everything: cleanliness, comfort, Chris the proprietor is very friendly. Went out of his way to give me a ride to my next accommodation with friends. Close walk to the center of Doolin. Great food for breakfast. Quiet.
It was our first B&B stay in Ireland. Very nice and helpful hosts. Lovely place :)
Chris very nice and friendly. BREAKFAST BIT MINIMAL.
Shower very poor no proper control for thermestat scolding! This probably due to low water pressure but dangerous as could get scalded. Also no wifi could possibly get it in one corner in hall downstairs.r Room too bright needs blind on velux window as we had upstairs room.
The hosts - a nice couple - were amazing and incredibly helpful, and gave us a delicious breakfast. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a beautiful view to the country hills. The Cliffs are a good hike from this B&B, but the walk is well worth it. Wifi works well too.
Everything was just great. :)
No TV in room (my mistake in misreading booking.com info on B&B). B&B old and antiquated in style and furniture. Hardly any water pressure either from sink tap or shower. Bed not made next day Cleanliness is marked down due to no housekeeping at all in room during stay.
I especially liked the kindness of the proprietors--Chris and Olive. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was perfect.
no hot water..
We had visitors from the US and brought them to Doolin to see the Cliffs etc. We stayed at Toomullin House and were given a very warm welcome from the hosts Chris and Olive. We were completely satisfied with our rooms and breakfast was a great start to our day. We were also delighted to meet the rest of the family including the lovable "Mimi",an adorable Labradoodle pup. Special thanks to Chris for all his helpful travel advise. Would definitely stay there again. Olive from Dublin
Like any house its location, location. And I must say Toomullin has that. As Chris said over the phone its 2mins from 2 pubs. Was made feel as if we were at home. Will return next summer
It was an easy walk to a couple of pubs. Host had good local knowledge of the area.
Breakfast is basic. No frills.
I was in doolin for a wedding which was on in the Doolin Hotel. The B&B was close to the hotel and a reasonable price
check in is very late (after 3pm) and departure times are very early. most people on holidays enjoy a rest in the morning. we were late for breakfast and rushing to leave before 11am
Smelled of cigarettes Room had too many beds.had to climb over bed to get in bathroom if other person sat on chair at desk. Dirty tiled floor. Mouldy broken blinds Old worn bedding Part of sliding shower screen missing, curtain used as replacement. Poor breakfast, rationed. False claims on their website such as free coffee at cafe ( only if dinner bought there). Wanted to be paid in cash and claimed website made that clear. We had none, so he begrudgingly used our debit card. On checking web site after leaving, found he had lied. Tried to get us to have dinner at the cafe they owned, he said the award wining restaurant we wanted to eat at was way too expensive and we'd get a great meal at thei place. Not true again.
