Templde Bar Hotel was a find indeed! We had a great stay and have nothing negative to say about the place. Friendly staff, excellent room, good breakfast and not expensive. The location is excellent but the area can be noisy and gets rowdy at night sometimes; however, we asked for and were given an room at the back, where noise-levels were negligable.

Value for money the hotel was spot on. It was ideally located for the bars, shopping & the river. All within a few mins walk. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel was spotless. The breakfasts were delicious. All in all I would stay here again & will recommend it to friends.

Excellent location. Hotel staff super helpful. Rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. It's a plus to have a coffee maker available in the room. Bar and nightclub next to the hotel, with no entrance fee for the guest to the club and a discount during the day at the bar. A friend recomended this hotel and I would recomended as well.

Great location - very easy to get around and close to almost everything. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and very comfortable. This is a hotel so not very intimate and lacks charm (minor criticism). There is a considerable street/party crowd noise issue however it did not bother us in fact kind of enjoyed the excitement,

We were a party of 11 guests on a Hen Party and this hotel was an excellent choice, it was an ideal location, the rooms were spacious and very clean. Beds were lovely and comfortable. The hotel staff were fantastic and sorted anything we needed. Breakfast was a self service set up and was delicious and most importantly it was hot!!

Fantastic location. I had read previous reviews suggesting that it was noisy but we did not find this. Given its central location we were surprised that the only noise to disturb us were the seagulls! The staff, and especially the barman were very friendly and helpful suggesting places to eat etc. It was very comfortable and cleaning service very efficient and flexible (we didn't leave the room until after 12 each day but it was still cleaned). Highly recommended The double bed seemed a little on the small side but was still comfortable.

Staff were excellent. Very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The location also was excellent. Right in the hub of it all. The room was a very good size. It was at the end of a corridor, and from the hotel plan I could see that it was bigger than most. The room was very comfortable with tv, hair dryer, tea & coffee making facilities, trouser press, lots of mirrors, plenty of storage, comfortable bed, extra towels [with no extra charge] if required. Breakfast was self-service and included Full- English and Continental breakfast. There was lots to choose from. The hotel far exceeded my expectation and I will definitely use it again when I come back. My main requirement was staying somewhere central. But having stayed here this hotel ticks many other boxes too. The only thing I could really say, and I knew this from the reviews i'd read before I went, is that it's a little bit noisy in the evening. But then you are right in the hub of Temple Bar, next to the Hard Rock Cafe. It wasn't really a problem for me as I was expecting it.

The location is very good for shoping and also we used the Luas (tram) to travel to and from a concert in the 02 (great service). Our room was very nice with a large size bathroom. Staff were very helpfull and the breakfast was delicious. The bedroom was very warm but we stayed midweek so it was ok to open the window, it might be noisy on weekends as the location is very central to bars and nightclubs.

Thie hotel is in a perfect location right in the heart of Temple Bar area. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and although quite small, was adequate for our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. The last time we stayed in Dublin we were a good 20 minutes walk away from the centre and vowed we'd never stay that far out again. Anyone wishing to be in the heart of Temple Bar area can't really go wrong staying here.

We were moved to a quiet room after two dreadful sleepless nights in a room overlooking Fleet Street When we arrived I asked if, notwithstanding the fact that we had prepaid, our room was a nice one and was assured that it was fine. The room was small cramped and the tv did not work properly. However these drawbacks paled into insignificance when we discovered that Fleet Street was a drunken madhouse from 10 pm to 03:30. Even with the windows tightly closed sleep was out of the question. We thought, ok, a bad night but it's Monday tomorrow so it will be fine. It was even worse and went on until 04:30. On the third night we were moved to a much larger room and blissfully quiet room at the back of the hotel. Why were we lied to on checking in?

I had mentioned when booking that this weekend was to celebrate my Husbands Birthday. We were upgraded to a suite, there was a birthday card and chocs left for him in our room. Very nice touch by the Hotel and very much appreciated I would definitely stay there again.

We loved the location, breakfast, and free wifi along with the very accomodating staff. We had some plumbing issues with our toilet and asked maintenance to take a look at it. There were still issues with the toilet even after the maintenance man supposedly fixed it, but that didn't ruin our stay at the hotel.

Central location in the hurt of the nightlife of Dublin, very polite stuff, clean room and nice breakfast with a choice of Irish breakfast. If you cannot sleep with noise maybe you have a problem with the pubs, clubs, bars in the temple bar. We don' t have a problem but if you wake in the middle of the night, then is a bit difficult to sleep...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were lovely, the room was first class, the location is ideal for socialising and shopping. The breakfast was excellent and all in all it was an ideal base to explore Dublin. I will definitely use the Temple Bar Hotel ant time I am in town. I cannot think of anything, it was a first class experience.

“We stayed at Fleet Street Hotel on the first weekend in December, it was freezing outside but the hotel and our room were all really warm and welcoming. The location is great jus at the end of Temple Bar which has a great atmosphere in the day and especially at night. The room itself was small but had everything we needed as we only really slepped there as we were out all day and half the night. It was also a very clean hotel and room, modern and fresh, all in all was a great trip which was helped by a great hotel.” Matthew, Nuneaton |
