Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very central for shopping and attending the beautifully restored theatre. Room comfortable but definetly in need of re decorating, also the lifts needs upgrading especially the floor covering in the lifts. Very good value for money. |

The hotel was excellent in every respect. I attended a dinner of the Waterford Chamber and there were 300 present. The food was superb. |

The room was very good, spacious and had a good views of the river. The hotel was very convenient to the venue I wanted to attend. Although the room was good I thought there was a slight shoddiness about some aspects of the hotel including the lifts (seemed in need of redecoration) and the bar (for a large space there was an unpleasant aroma - like a stale kitchen smell?). Ps: Didn't spot the guest reviews. |

This hotel has lovely leisure facilities, a nice bar area and a nice restaurant with reasonable prices. When we first arrived we were put in room 106 which was a smoking room and it had paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. Once I complained we were moved straight away to a much nicer non smoking room. |

I thought the location was good, and breakfast was good. Service at breakfast was also good. Did not like the lobby, it was not a very welcoming atmosphere. The tiles I think are not suitable for the foyer of an Irish hotel, where the weather is cold and maybe wet. It did not feel like a 4 Star hotel. While the staff were efficient they were not terribly friendly. Then ceiling the the bathroom was flaking Room 105. We were visiting with a single friend, so it was two double rooms. She got a much bigger and nicer room than we did, so that was a sign of no planning. She is also a smoker and was not asked on booking if she required a smoking room, where we are not smokers ! This speaks for itself. Also there was a Colgate toothpast box in the bin in our bathroom - Not good. By the way I did fill out the card in the room, |

The room was very well located in the centre of Waterford. On the first evening I went down to the restaurant at 7.30 to be told there were no tables until 8.30 but I could order room service. The member of staff would not tell me whether there were any other restaurants near by. I ordered room service. The sea bass was the worst meal I have ever eaten -very over cooked. There are several very good restaurants near by! |

It was well placed for a visit to Waterford and the breakfast was good. The gneral areas were comfortable. We asked for a non smoking room and we were clearly right in the middle of the smoking corridor and the room stank. The bathroom appeared clean but smelt of urine. Not a very great stay really. |

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make e feel comfortable and insuring that my stay was a success. The only criticism was the shoeshine machines in the hallway on Floor #2 and Floor #3 did not work. |
