A haven of peace and tranquility, this newly-built house sits amongthe trees of its own private estate, spanning over one acre, in Londonderry’s rolling picturesque countryside.

Hegarty’s B&B has stunning views of the countryside around Garvary in County Donegal. A 4-minute drive from the nearby village of Burnfoot, it looks out to Lough Swilly and Inch Island.

Couldn't be happier with this great B&B
Everything was fine and the owners most helpful
Friendly helpful owners running this very central B&B great value for money would go again
the room was a bit too hot but this was easily solved by turning off the radiator
I cannot recommend this B & B enough! It is in the middle of Buncrana town with restaurants, take-aways, coffee shops, night life and an ATM on the doorstep, yet the beach can be seen from the rear and is a short stroll away, offering endless views and clean and clear sea and sand. The place is absolutely spotless, and has a lovely homely scent filling the building from the kitchen. Our breakfast was cooked to order, and we were asked what time we wanted to eat - how amazing not to have to run down to catch breakfast before it ends as happens in many hotels!! Such a treat to enjoy a lie in and wake up to a beautiful cooked breakfast along with a range of cereals, breads, fruit and juice, we were spoiled for choice!! The fact that this B & B's wifi operates at a very fast speed puts many hotels to shame, and the satellite TV ensured we had plenty of channels to choose from. The room itself was perfectly furnished and complete with a tea/coffee station that we didn't expect to find, along with a bright and clean bathroom with a surprisingly powerful shower that offered endless hot water. I cannot recommend this B & B enough, it exceeded our expectations by miles and is the best value accommodation we have ever stayed in. We look forward to returning some day!!
This review form seeks a 200 minimum character entry, however I genuinely cannot fault this accommodation. I would recommend this place to anyone of any age or background, and it is perfect for exploring the northern coast of Donegal, thank you to our wonderful hosts for a fantastic stay!
I liked the staff and location and the fact that wee could have a late breakfast and check out.
This accommodation is centrally located on the main street in Buncrana. The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good. Whilst the room was a little dated, it was very clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent. A very good value for money B&B, ideal for one or two nights stay.
Very little - just be careful with the parking - it's on street (adjacent to the hotel) and it is only free after 6.30 pm and payable again after 9.30 am. On the plus side though, if you buy a 2 Euro parking ticket in the evening, the machine automatically calculates your leaving time for the following day so you get your full 2 Euro's worth
Lovely owners great location and a very delicious breakfast each morning keep up the great work
The genuine kindness of the family! The magnificent view of Lough Swilly from my room. The arrangement of bath & bed within the suite made it so comfortable!
Very comfortable stay. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were very spacious. The breakfast was very nice and we had a late check-out. The owners were very nice to also offer us a late cooked breakfast!
Staff were lovely
Rooms were outdated & breakfast was very basic but tasty all the same
Rather dark and there was a gutter dripping all night, so noisy! Breakfast was OK
In the town center. B&B very clean and comfortable.staff excellent.great breakfast.
the staff. the ease of parking. the breakfast was good. the location.
the decor was very dated. the view wasn't great.
The key to my room was delivered to me at a wedding I was attending at Quigley's Point Donegal. The room was very clean and comfortable. The three course breakfast beautiful.
Being beside the Town Clock, the clock strikes on the hour every hour ,not too uncomfortable, but is very noticeable.
Free wi-fi, good breakfast, friendly, helpful staff with great knowledge of local area and attractions. Great value stay in centre of Buncrana.Asked what time we would like breakfast rather than being told what time we were having it.
Initial entrance may look a little dated, don't let that put you off.
I booked 4 rooms at the Town Clock for a group of couples attending a local wedding. The location is brilliant in the centre of buncrana meaning you have a wealth of pubs and restaurants at your doorstep. The key standout of the Town Clock was the owners who were more than happy to bend over backwards to help and ensure you enjoyed your stay.
Good value for money, really nice owners.
Bed wasn't the best, old.
poor quality beds
location in centre of town was fantastic as it was so close to where we needed to go.
every thing was very good food excellent and room very clean and comfortable We have been there before and we always enjoy The staff are also very nice and friendly
Whats not to like in TOWN CLOCK !!!!!!
The owners friendliness
We stayed for 3 nights during the Buncrana festival. The location was second to none as the festival took place right outside the front door. We could walk to the beautiful beach and had a range of good eateries on the doorstep. I personally found the bed very comfortable, so soft. I was impressed by having free wifi in the room. The room was a good size and we had a fabulous view across the graveyard down to the shore! There was sky TV in the room and a good selection of tea and coffee. We were surprised by how powerful the shower was. The breakfast was great and there was nice brown bread on offer. The owners, Margaret and Hilary were super friendly, they made us feel right at home and had plenty of time to talk to us each day. We will definitely return.
Owners and staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast excellent and you could come and go as you pleased
Nothing we did not like
