Location and helpfullness of reception

My stay at Travelodge Phoenix Park was very pleasant, the staff were friendly and curtious, the room was very well maintained and the bed was excellant, its location for me was ideal as I was in Dublin to attend a conference.

It would need a little refresh, above all bathrooms and the walls

I liked the friendliness of the guy on reception on arrival. The fact that the room we got was quiet as requested. I have stayed here many times and have always enjoyed it

It was clean and tidy.

There was no hairdryer in the room, and it had been raining hard all day. I was attending a school reunion that evening and my hair was never going to be like I'd come from the hair salon, but it least I'd have been able to dry it if there was one in the room...

Cleanning

It was comfortable, easy, clean and convenient.

The window handle was broken off and so we couldn't close the window to drown out the noise of the heavy traffic outside. We were there for a family reunion and over 17 family members stayed for up to 3 nights. We were a bit disappointed that only 2 managed to get the stay for less than 60 euros per night even though your signs inside and outside the hotel boldly stated rooms from 29 euros.

Location , as situated halfway between city centre and airport

I was extremely disappointed with the standard of cleaning during my stay in Travelodge Pheonix Park on 15 July 2011. Initially, we were given a key to the room which was covered with rubbish bags and was not prepared. After notifying reception we were allocated another room which was compare to my experience staying in other Travel Lodges in uk was barely acceptable. The bed linen was dirty, room wasnt properly cleaned and had an unsavoury odour. Additionally the tv was intermittent and remort control didn't work. I was prepare to tolerate this for one night as we were only planning to sleep in the room and spend more time to in Dublin centre. However, in the morning while preparing to leave , I discovered insects crawling on the sofa where I left my clothes from previous night. There were atleast six beatle type insects which appeared to be coming out of the back of the sofa. At that point, I promptly decide to leave the hotel.

Very clean and not to many distractions

Was a bit of a walk if you do not have transport.

The check-in was extremely fast and convenient. I found the food in the restaurant to be of the quality you would find in 4 star hotels. We really enjoyed the meals in the restaurant.

Tv channels were poor, shower was poor and price of alcohol in the hotel was a bit expensive

Very convenient - but we only used it as a stopping point on a longer journey

The room was very clean and not a bad size either,, Comfortable too !

The reception let the hotel down badly... The staff are not friendly and there is nothing in it.. It could do with a small bar.. The road outside is very busy and almost impossible to get across...
