Trim Castle Hotel  

I liked the whole atmosphere of the hotel. Everybody was friendly and polite. The room was huge (for a Standard Room). I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel stayed the 9th of May my brother had his wedding and everything was so perfect the staff were so friendly and i would highly recommend Trim Castle

A beautiful modern hotel right across the street from the Trim Castle. Large, bright room and nearby balconies with views. Good breakfast. Good location to avoid Dublin before or after a flight. We got a particularly good deal booking ahead on a weeknight in April.

Their normal prices would probably be out of our range.

My husband and I spent a short break at Trim Castle Hotel earlier this week and were pleased with the deal that we got. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Beautifully furnished. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Couldn't fault anything

I loved the location, beside a castle and lovely for leisurely walks. Hotel was very busy but so peaceful and tranquil. Staff were excellent. Great hotel for a relaxing, luxurious break. Food was great and hotel was so clean. We look forward to a return visit to Trim Castle Hotel sometime

Everything. From the time you enter the hotel you are made welcome and everything after that is great. If you have a problem or a question it is answered fully and the staff really seem to appreciate your custom.

There was nothing we disliked.

Location. Was very central. I was at a wedding. So scenery overlooking castle was fab

Time between dinner courses took 2 long.

Staff were very welcoming

Batteries in remote didn't work we rang and no one came with new batteries. Very hot during the night and as a result did not sleep at all, Breakfast was not nice, very small and not a good variety.

Lovely hotel, castle view from our room fantastic...but a trip to 3rd floor terrace area worth a trip for stunning view!

Although bed really comfy we were disappointed with hard pillows

This hotel was at an amazing location, the view out of our hotel was right at the 12th century castle. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. The restaurant food was great and the breakfast served was a nice variety. The hotel rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. It was a very kid friendly hotel. The location of the hotel was key!

Excellent value when touring Ireland. Easy to find, restaurant good for dinner, buffet breakfast for guests in morning. Only change I would make next time would be to request a room with view of Trim Castle across the street. Very convenient to Newgrange.

Was a bit noisy with guests arriving late rolling carts down the hallway.

It is a fantastic hotel. The rooms were fantastic and the staff were amazing. I proposed to my girlfriend on their beautiful rooftop garden and the staff did everything they could to make our stay special.

Room: nicely laid out, with unbelievably excellent view of castle - right across the street! Night staff man at reception was especially nice & welcoming. Restaurant attached to lobby had excellent food. Very well done!

Hotel virtually turns heat off during sleeping hours. If you had to use the toilet, or sit up for a while, it was very chilly indeed. I'm usually up for a while in the middle of the night. I was told the next morning that I could have complained to reception. I'll know next time, but I've never been as cold at night in any comparable hotel before this. Breakfast, as opposed to dinner in the restaurant, was horrible! Powdered egg "omelette" had no redeeming qualities at all, save the piece of cheddar cheese melted on top. Waitress was efficient, but barely personable. It made leaving the hotel feel like a quick kick out of the door.

The room was excellent, spacious and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and happy to help with any requirements we had.
