The location was good for our weekend away. Room was large and spacious. Lobby was very nice. Although I confirmed with the hotel the week prior to checking in that we were not part of the wedding party, and was told I would be put away from it, upon checking in we discovered we were put on the first floor, directly across from the function room. We asked to be changed which they did do, placing us on the third floor, I was just annoyed as they told me when confirming that they were aware we were not a part of the wedding. Also breakfast was not very well stocked when we got down (all be it that it was at 10) and it was after I finished the rest of my breakfast that I was offered tea and toast. Overall, I think for the money paid it did not meet expectations based on services. Hotel and room itself were very nice.

The hotel was a good value. Approximately equal in value to Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn in the US. The toilets had an odor of what wppeared to be sewer gas. The toilets were clean, as was the rest of the room, but they smelled.

The hotel has delightful decor, and is very comfortable and welcoming. The view of Trim Castle itself during the day and at night was quite stunning. Not a dislike exactly but more tea-bags, milk and perhaps a small biscuit snack would be nice!

I attended a wedding at the hotel and stayed two nights, staff, food and the countryside all combined to make it a very enjoyable stay. The hotel room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. I would definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our mid-week break. It was a lovely relaxing break with excellent food, great service and lovely atmosphere. The hotel is clean, very comfortable and warm. It has a nice morning coffee shop in front of hotel. Hotel has lovely views of Trim Castle and is convenient to lovely nature walks. Trim is a lovely quaint little town for strolling and browsing through some shops. Suitable for a walking break. Conveniently located if interested in exploring the historic Boyne Drive.

Very nice spacious clean room, food at bar was very good and staff were very heplful. I also used the near-by Aura Leisure centre during my stay, which hotel patrons have free use of, leisure centre is modern and has a lovely big swimming pool :) To park in the hotel car park it costs 3 euro per night

The rooms were a good size. Bathrooms very modern. Very clean. Staff at reception and bar were welcoming and friendly. Hotel itself is in very good decorative order and I had a beautiful view of the castle. Good selection at breakfast The only flaw is no spa facilities. However this is reflected in the price, cheaper than hotels in the vacinity.

Not a whole lot to like. . The rooms are not sound proof and there was a wedding down stairs. The band might as well have been in the room with us. The room was non smoking yet smelled like an ash tray. Not a positive experience

Although room was comfortable, given I had paid for a superior double room, I could not see what extra I was getting for my money compared to a standard room.
