Central location and confortable room, although the bedroom photos on the website are the exception rather than the rule. We travel regularly both in and out of the UK and this hotel proved very expensive in comparison to other major European capitals. I'd classify this as a B&B, and no more than 3* at most. Breakfast was extremely poor, their continental is only inclusive & was sparse to say the least. Anything hot costs you a further 9.50 per person, very poor given the room rate charged. |

The location in the city centre was convenient but finding it on arrival in Dublin, was abit difficult. We stayed in room three and the central heating did not work hence had to use a standing heater which dried my throat and left me coughing all night. Also the beddings were never changed instead they just made the bed. |

It's proper authentic Georgian. If you don't like old rattling windows and all that goes with antique boutique, don't stay here. We loved it - huge room, big bed, massive windows. Needed the extra heater and blankets provided, Dublin is chilly and soggy. The menu in the attached restaurant offered poor choice and poor value. The extra $ for cooked breakfast wasn't worth it but we were happy enough with the free continental breakfast. You have to ask for muffin or croissant but that's ok. |

The rooms were a good size with 2 very comfortable double beds. The bathrooms were very well appointed. The hotel is in a good central position. The breakfast room was too small. On the Sunday morning, when it was busy, there were not enough tables and the staff could not cope. Food stuff ran out by 9.15 and was slow to be replaced. |

The Lodge is ideally situated for us to walk around and see the sights of Dublin. The bedroom was lovely and spacious, comfortable bed. Decor we felt was a little tired. Plently of hot water. It was good to have a small heater in the room as one evening it became quite cold. We would stay at the Trinity Lodge again. Considering that the Lodge is an excellent place to stay, we felt it was let down by the quality of the breakfast. It would have been nice to have a pot of coffee on the breakfast table. |

The location was great. It was nice to be on a quieter street in such a busy part of the city. Could use better pillows. Also the service for the breakfast dining was sub par. They needed more staff. |

Very convenient for the city centre, almost opposite Trinity College. Walkable to the less touristy bars away from the centre. Breakfast will not fill you up (€9.50 extra for the full irish), little choice. You had toast OR a croissant, not both. |

- Hotel Close to City Centre, - Friendly Staff - Although the Room and Resturant were clean, the Hall/stairway always had foul smell around - Although I enjoyed my Stay I thought it was expensive for the type of Hotel it was (It felt more like a B+B) |

This hotel is in a great location with easy access to all tourist attractions. The staff was great and very helpful. A little bit noisy since it was so central, but not enough to keep me awake. |

A very fine welcome with personal care (a swedich receptionist). A quiet place even situated in the middle of Dublin. The music in "George" restaurant - it was too noisy and much too high in the morning. The "view" from our room was not OK - litter and garbishcontainers is not an accepteble view for a 5 days stay with payment to normal fee!! (room no. 2) |

Easy walk to shops / restaurants, but in a quiet location. Close to all bus routes. Large clean room - small bathroom. Breakfast served in cafe over the street was OK. Ideal base for our weekend break. |

The rooms were good and breakfast the first morning was excellent. The receptionist was very pleasant. Most of the waiting and service staff did not seem to understand much English and requests (like for food at the second breakfast) were met with blank stares. |

The location is excellent and the hotel overall was good. We had a big family room under the roof that was nice, clean and confortble. However, the breakfast offert by the hotel was poor and stressing. The waitress trid to do her best but the buffet was almost empty everyday ... breakfast very poor almost everyplate at the buffet was empty and not replaced, every day |
