Location, quirky foyer, Room on second night. Minutes from grafton street and temple bar. Room on first floor looked out into courtyard of Dublin fire brigade. Incredibly noisy all night, sirens, engines going off all night. No a/c in room so stuffy. Got moved to Tara suites next day which was huge improvement. A/c available, large room, quiet, looked out onto apartement complex Friendly front office staff do not stay here if u are placed in any room looking on to a fire engine!!

Nice location. Easy to reach the centre by walk. I recommend printing out the confirmation from booking.com and have it at the check out because the hotel wanted to overcharge me for around EUR 20.

My wife and I were very happy staying here. Large bath with lots of amenities, friendly staff and convenient downtown location. Good value and I would recommend it to family and friends.

A very nice hotel whose outward appearance does not do justice to the lovely interior. Reception was quick, friendly and very effecient. The room, though smallish, as they are in these older buildings, was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and had a well appointed bathroom. It is within walking distance to everything, even for seniors. Would not hesitate to stay here again. The firehall is not a problem.

We liked the decor and style of the hotel which reminded us of the 1920s or 'boutique' style. The hotel was clean and fresh and very welcoming. The staff were very attentive, friendly and efficient. The location of the hotel, one of the reasons we chose this one, was ideal as it was very close to the culture, nightlife and shopping centres of Dublin.

Great staff and absolutely fantastic location. Rooms are big and are just like on the pictures. Breakfast can be definiteley recommended! Parking possible around the corner for 10 EUR (24h). Room upgrade for EUR 25/35,00 is worth it! I will go there again on my next stay to Dublin. Stayed here 2x during my visit.

Good decor, friendly helpful staff, resonably priced for a good quality hotel. Drinks a little expensive but generally most bars charge more than we are used to paying, the euro does not help the situation.

Style, comfort, colour scheme, central location but not troubled by rowdy Temple Bar nights Gave us a free unexpected upgrade simply as I'd wanted to arrange a gift in the room for my wife's birthday Cold, but luxurious, bathroom. Didnt have any heating whatsoever so tile floor was very cold

The design in the hotel is very interesting, very pleasant to see, close to be a museum. We had dinner there on Good Friday and then, the service was just great and the price was ok for the quality. The location is ideal to visit the town center. Overall, not a bad experience but not in line with the comments I have seen on Booking.com and another site. Standard rooms are small and the one we had clearly requires refurbishing. We had a problem with the shower (not enough pressure), it was reported the first day at reception but nothing was done nor communicated during the 3 days we were there. We were there just before Easter, the hotel seemed to be full and we had our breakfast half an hour before the closing time. All this may explain why the service at the breakfast was not good (things missing namely).

The location of this hotel was great, just far enough away from the busy and quite rowdy bars but close enough to walk to shops/restaurants/bars when you wanted. The decor is interesting but we liked it, funny chairs and decorations in the reception and bar, gothic blacks, reds and purples, everything was clean though and the staff were helpful and friendly. We paid approx 260 euros for 3 nights, I thought that was great value for a city hotel (I found Dublin itself generally expensive though). It did not include breakfast but that only cost 9.95 euros. We chose to have breakfast on 2 mornings, there was enough choice, the cooked breakfast was very nice and we didn't need any lunch! We also had dinner there one night and it was also good. Friends also stayed at the hotel, we all had a nice time and we all agreed that we would definitely recommend this to others. If we go back we would be happy to stay again. The only "negative" was the fire station, which is adjoined to the hotel. Our rooms looked down into the station where the fire trucks were all parked. First reaction -oh no......, however we did not find it a problem. They don't blast their sirens all night, in fact they were called out one night that we were there and I didnt hear a thing. They put the sirens on when they drive further down the road, so didnt notice. We did hear a generator running constantly in the station, but it wasn't loud enough to bother us. They did however test the engines every morning, it was a quick honk and hoot around 9.00am (10am on the Sunday), so if you are trying to have a lie in then you may get a fright! It would not put us off going back.

Good location for Dublin City Centre. Whacky but comfortable large room. Convenient parking just round the corner. Slightly off-the- wall ambience. Really helpful bar staff. Restaurant staff were stressed and unhelpful, were not prepared for the 'dry' Dublin Good Friday and predictable additional demand (an annual occurrence)! There were plenty of spare tables but the kitchen couldn't keep up. Extra staff would have solved the problem.

I loved our room. Was not what I was expecting but a pleasant surprise. We asked for an early morning call as we had an early flight but did not get it. Some of the staff had difficulty understanding us.

Decor was pleasing. Location fairly close to town the staff were inexperienced and did not have good comprehension of the English language did not put too much effort in facilitating the customer. The dinner was good food. Terrible service and extremely slow. Again. Poor training.

Staff / Bar / Restaurant all very good. Love decor. Nice all round facilities. I lived in your hotel back in 2009 for about 3 months each week so know it well. Room 418 - horrible. Kept hitting my head on sloping roof. Not easy access to power plus for lap top and no good place to work - real cluttered. Not fixed problem with people taking your booked taxis - this has to be fixed - creates a nightmare when you are on crunch time.

We had a pleasant stay in the Trinity Capital Hotel. The entrance and the lobby are decorated in a strange modern style. The hallway was very dark and painted in strange colors like purple and pink, not very relaxing. Our room was nice, not too big, but clean and with everything we needed. It scared us a bit when we saw that the view from our room was right into the fire department, but we slept well. Staff was pleasant and helpful, and location is great. Temple Bar and Trinity College are only at a couple of minutes walking distance.

Great location. Very quirky hotel!! Throughout our stay in Dublin the irish people were so warm and friendly - however, we didnt find the staff in the hotel like that. Staff not as friendly as we thought they would be. Room was very warm and not as luxurious as the rest of the hotel.
