The Trinity Capital Hotel is a superior three star contemporary style hotel designed with an art deco influence. Located in the heart of the city, opposite Trinity College - one of Dublin's best known landmarks.

Our central location makes the Trinity Capital the perfect place to discover the history, culture and ambiance unique to our city centre. Within walking distance from the hotel are some of Dublin's top attractions including Trinity College, Dublin Castle, St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street - Dublin's principal shopping district. A wealth of museums, galleries and cultural centres are dotted around the city centre and are within easy reach from our central location. Take a 5 minute walk to Temple Bar, to experience Dublin's cultural quarter and the hub of Dublin's nightlife, famous for its abundance of café and music bars/restaurants. Just ten minutes walk from the hotel is the International Financial Services Centre (ifsc) - the core of Dublin's Business District. The convenience of meals at the same location, the friendliness of the staff, the cooperation of the staff for small issues, the availability of a computer for short-term use right in the hotel lobby.

The absence of electrical outlets near a mirror so women might fix and curl their hair while looking in a mirror.

An extremely comfortable hotel within Dublin's centre. The decor is really 'funky'.

We did have one complaint about the Chef's special being withdrawn on the Sunday evening as we had made a point of dining in the hotel that evening, however, after after speaking with the Duty Manager we were given complimentary drinks (2 each).

close to marathon start

Spent 2 hours trying to find the suggested car park.... and so did a number of other guests to whom I spoke. Directions were incorrect and map that i was given was pathetic.

really stylish hotel, the rooms were lovely. Beautiful reception area and nice staff. Located close to the shopping district and trinity college. Brilliant location for the Dublin Marathon too.

Rooms were clean, staff were friendly. Location was perfect.

Service in the restaurant was the worst we have ever experience. It was so slow and it was because there were not enough staff on. Also, the menu for the t.v. did not work and the porter was to call up in the few minutes and he never arrive but rang 40 mins later to say that he didn't know anything about the system. Would recommend hotel but just not for eating.

In general, the staff were polite. However, I think that they might have been better informed at the front desk. They missed a wake up call, so we missed a booked tour, and in asking directions to a government office, the front desk employee merely said the office was down the road, which in fact was inaccurate. However they did fulfill my request for 2 beds, and were pleasant.

The lack of shelving in the room was inconvenient. We also had issues using our cells phones within the room, and while the booking was under 2 names, and verified as such upon arrival, 2 phones calls were missed as only one name showed up in the computer system.

The design of the hotel, the bar, the location

the room got too hot at night, the radiator made alot of noise and was difficult to turn off and i was unable to drain the bath
