Clean room and great breakfast
Needs to be updated ans slightly musty odor in corridors
owners were great
A very personable couple work day and night here to keep things running smoothly. I felt welcomed and was fed very very well in the morning - great place to stay!
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, starting right off with some Irish stew and Guinness. In the morning a nice Irish breakfast started the day. I liked the small town atmosphere and the pub life in the evening. I would like to come back sometime.
excellent friendly service with no frills attached and always willing to assist in every way possible.A real irish guest house.
We liked: - the warm and friendly welcome - cleanliness - the rooms being above the pub/restaurant. At first I thought it might be noisy, but it was actually ok, nothing to keep you awake anyway, and it's nice after a day travelling to have your meal just down the stairs (the fish and chips was delicious!)
- the bulb at the ceiling did not work, although all other lamps worked ok so not a major problem. And we completely forgot to mention it upon checking out... If the previous occupants of the room did the same, the owner may not even know about it! So if they are reading this: room 11 ;)
Great breakfast. Slightly musty smell upstairs, but not in my bedroom.
Old fashioned, could do with an update
Friendly owner, very helpful and a lovely lady. Safe parking at the rear.
Rooms and hallways old and a little damp smelling. But other things made up for it and I'd return.
Garden smoking area, dining,
My room had a frosted window so had no view.
Family run by local family who are very proud of their village. Nice traditional bar below accommodation and you can't hear it when in bed.
We landed at Shannon and need somewhere close and ended up staying two nights - a good base to see the area. Ann was a great hostess. Loved her meals.
Staff and bar
We felt comfortable within all of the place in our room at breakfast and the bar Friendly staff and locals It suited our purpose very well
A lovely welcome from Lyn, wonderful home cooked food for both dinner and breakfast. Would recommend Tubridy's for a perfect place to stay.
Friendly attitude of Owner & his wife. Lucky to hit on an 80th birthday in bar which went on till late. Lovely breakfast nicely cooked
Shower a bit small and bathroom extractor v.noisey
I liked the friendly greeting the minute we walked in the door. We loved our stay and great music in the bar. Hope to return.
Cheap as Chips - Great food, friendly place ... Found to be VERY quiet (staying mid-week). Basic facilities with a TV lounge...
Facilities worked ok for me... Some may want TV in room - lounge was fine to use.
The owners were more than wonderful. Very welcomed by them as well as the locals in the pub area. Breakfast was good and very generous. Quiet clean rooms, very pleasant experience.
Don't ever expect to have a better time anywhere. We were weary travelers arriving from a very long layover and flight from US. We felt like our first stop here after our long journey was like coming home. We stayed two nights. Wonderful building, wonderful breakfast. We could relax in the pub in the evening with darling Ann preparing our meal and with the ebullient Martin taking care of us and keeping us totally entertained. We love this place and this wonderful couple. Would love to come back.
Didn't like having to leave.
very friendly spot, looked after us very well
Excellent service from Ann. I would highly recommend to any one
