Tudor Lodge was the perfect accommodation for us as we were looking for a place close to Glendalough site and not very far from Dublin where we had to get early the next morning. The lodge is very nice with big and welcoming rooms with huge beds. Everything was very neat and tidy.
No hot water for shower in the morning. Weak wifi. Irish TV channels only.
Great location. Comfortable room. Fantastic breakfast.
The room was not warm enough in the morning and, more crucially, I was left with no hot water while having a shower.
The location and the building were fantastic. Huge room, beautifully appointed.
We had a very pleasant stay! It's a very cozy and comfortable B&B!
No shampoo , the pine overkill decor wise
The provided WLAN signal was a bit weak in the room.
The hosts are very friendly, openhearted and supportive with occurring issues and give very useful tips about the surrounding. The Lodge is perfectly situated to start the Green route walk to Glendalogh and Upper lake and many other trips into nature. It is very comfy to watch a movie from the provided dvd library. I'll definitely recommend the Tudor Lodge and would return for another stay.
Breakfast wasn't great and WiFi very unreliable.
Liked the location, car parking, setting, price. Owner was friend my.
the location is excellent for walking. if you take a left out onto the road and walk to the woolen mills there is a path at the back of the mill which will take you to the lakes at glendalough in around 30 mins.
Key to room was somewhat ill fitting and took a couple of goes to open but no big deal.
Really friendly owner chris had a great chat I ver breakfast which was freshly cooked with a huge variety of extras..apple pie yogurts cheese as well as the usual cereals and fruit. A real cosy feel to the b nb. Definitely recommend.
The location and cabin were as charming as they come. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will defintely stay there again sometime soon.
Tudor Lodge was a pleasure to stay at. Staff gave a friendly and personalised service start to finish. The room was beautifully furnished and comfortable and accommodation was just a 5 minute walk to the local pubs and restaurants. We will definitely return again!
Nothing to dislike
Great location good rooms
lovely place, food, very clean room, very nice staff, great place for relax
? .. nothing
The breakfast was unbelievable good! And the staff supernice. I would definitely repeat.
No complaints except there was a storm when we were there so wifi was almost non-existent in our room which was at the very end of the corridor.
Very friendly and welcoming. Pristine clean. Great big room with good shower. Excellent location for Hillwalks through Glendalough, Wicklow Gap and Glenmalure.
Hot water ran out - especially an issue for triple room. Breakfast - could be better - how about replacing paper table clothes with proper ones?
Lots of friendly advice from owner; DVD players in rooms and selection of DVDs; location
Room was a little small
The staff were very pleasant I would recommend the Tudor lodge to my friends
Able to walk to Laragh for evening meals. Close to Glendalough and within easy driving distance of other areas of interest. Meals excellent each morning.
personal touch, looking to ensure your stay is a pleasurable one, and what a great choice for breakfast, didn"t want to leave table..plenty of room in rooms and lovely shower /bathroom..thanks for a great stay..11 out of 10 all day long
Welcoming, friendly and helpful proprietors. The lodge itself and our room were fantastic. Nice hot shower. Breakfast is delicious. WiFi connection was excellent. Great location right by the beautiful surrounds of Glendalough.
Jane greeted me very kindly after my travels. And, the breakfast was out of this world. Everyone was exceptionally kind. With Glendalough so close, a suburb venue, and opposite was a Weavers outlet with wonderful clothes and blankets - a nice way to spend a wet afternoon browsing. Early morning at the Lough was amazing - the morning light on the water. The whole holiday (and even the ride across the Wicklow mountains, the R115) - was not to be missed. A truly lovely divine experience. Thank you.
Really nice staff and comfy rooms, clean, towels, nice breakfast. 5 minutes walk to a nice pub with good food. Packed lunch is available but we havn't tried it. It was a really nice stay. :)
Facilities and location were perfect
