Liked the location, car parking, setting, price. Owner was friend my.
Breakfast wasn't great and WiFi very unreliable.
the location is excellent for walking. if you take a left out onto the road and walk to the woolen mills there is a path at the back of the mill which will take you to the lakes at glendalough in around 30 mins.
Really friendly owner chris had a great chat I ver breakfast which was freshly cooked with a huge variety of extras..apple pie yogurts cheese as well as the usual cereals and fruit. A real cosy feel to the b nb. Definitely recommend.
Key to room was somewhat ill fitting and took a couple of goes to open but no big deal.
The location and cabin were as charming as they come. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will defintely stay there again sometime soon.
Tudor Lodge was a pleasure to stay at. Staff gave a friendly and personalised service start to finish. The room was beautifully furnished and comfortable and accommodation was just a 5 minute walk to the local pubs and restaurants. We will definitely return again!
Great location good rooms
Nothing to dislike
lovely place, food, very clean room, very nice staff, great place for relax
? .. nothing
The breakfast was unbelievable good! And the staff supernice. I would definitely repeat.
Very friendly and welcoming. Pristine clean. Great big room with good shower. Excellent location for Hillwalks through Glendalough, Wicklow Gap and Glenmalure.
No complaints except there was a storm when we were there so wifi was almost non-existent in our room which was at the very end of the corridor.
Lots of friendly advice from owner; DVD players in rooms and selection of DVDs; location
Hot water ran out - especially an issue for triple room. Breakfast - could be better - how about replacing paper table clothes with proper ones?
The staff were very pleasant I would recommend the Tudor lodge to my friends
Room was a little small
Able to walk to Laragh for evening meals. Close to Glendalough and within easy driving distance of other areas of interest. Meals excellent each morning.
personal touch, looking to ensure your stay is a pleasurable one, and what a great choice for breakfast, didn"t want to leave table..plenty of room in rooms and lovely shower /bathroom..thanks for a great stay..11 out of 10 all day long
Welcoming, friendly and helpful proprietors. The lodge itself and our room were fantastic. Nice hot shower. Breakfast is delicious. WiFi connection was excellent. Great location right by the beautiful surrounds of Glendalough.
Jane greeted me very kindly after my travels. And, the breakfast was out of this world. Everyone was exceptionally kind. With Glendalough so close, a suburb venue, and opposite was a Weavers outlet with wonderful clothes and blankets - a nice way to spend a wet afternoon browsing. Early morning at the Lough was amazing - the morning light on the water. The whole holiday (and even the ride across the Wicklow mountains, the R115) - was not to be missed. A truly lovely divine experience. Thank you.
Really nice staff and comfy rooms, clean, towels, nice breakfast. 5 minutes walk to a nice pub with good food. Packed lunch is available but we havn't tried it. It was a really nice stay. :)
Facilities and location were perfect
The style of the place, the shower, the feather duvet and pillows, the home cooked breakfast, the garden, the location and the friendly hosts
Great initial point for hiking in Glendalough Peacefull location Tasty Irish breakfast
I got a warm welcome, felt the rest of the house and the hosts immediately, there was a very rustic atmosphere. Had a great varied breakfast (with yoghurt, fruit, toast, eggs and bacon!)
I don't like that the heating was set up allready :)
Easy to walk to places to eat. Easy to get to local attractions. Friendliness of the owner.
Older son could have been friendlier at breakfast.
Easy location to find and an excellent B&B. Parked our motorcycles inside the forecourt. Good breakfast
loose gravel and lack of footpath for walking at night
The owners were wonderful - very helpful, friendly, and had that amazing Irish sense of humor. The location was a little off the beaten path, with some great day-trip options, and the sunroom (complete with kitty) was a wonderful place to spend some downtime. The river area behind the house was also fabulous.
