5 bed apartment was ideal for our group
The apartment is massive, with room for 12 people and showers in each double room. It's self catering and close to shops so it was easy to organise meals. It was cheap compards to hotels in the area and I will definitely be staying here again.
It's a bit far away from Thomond Park but if one person is driving it's fine. Otherwise you would need to get taxis.
Large apartment, clean, with kitchen facilities, each bedroom had its own bathroom. Landry available.
When we were there (August) there was no open shop or cafeteria in the campus. We were far away from the city.
Nice bedroom and on suite facilities. Comfortable shared living room and kitchen.
It was quite a long walk into Limerick Town. (30-40 mins) You have to get the bus and you have to bear in mind that the buses do not start running on Sunday until 11.15am.
Rooms were a great size and all ensuite. It was clean, lovely setting and really great value for money.
Kitchen could have been slightly better equipped.
Inside the Limerick University Campus.
Very difficult to find the location, is situated inside the University Campus (write them please!!!)
Great Value. All en suite rooms.
Machines in laundry clogged with detergent. Dryers cannot be opened mid cycle to remove delicate items without voiding entire cycle. Not easy to find village at first. A campus map prior to arrival would help.
young adults noisy and throwing food and bottles in the early hours of the morning
Bus etc was good , we had own vehicle so transport was not an issue . if we are back in Ireland we would stay again but we are from Australia so our chances of a return visit are not imminent unless you have a freebbe visit on your calander especially for aussies
All was good
Comfortable, spacious apartments, reasonably priced, great surroundings.
No microwave ?
Very high quality student flats. Rooms were comfortable and all en-suite. Staff very friendly. Price was very competitive. Happy with our stay!
loads of space for a two bedroomed appartment.
would have liked to have a microwave just in case. Doors were heavy and noisy when closing.
I was very pleased with the facilities, the room and living area were excellent. Anything we needed e.g. microwave was brought straight up and there was a basket of essential food items provided on arrival - an unexpected surprise!
There's not much we didn't like, the only thing I missed was wireless internet but there was a cable provided in the bedroom for the LAN.
The accommodation and university grounds were spotlessly clean. Reception service was excellent and very polite. Plenty of information given. Extremely good value.
Couldn't fault it.
Bedroom en-suite Spaciousness of Apartment Complimentary Shampoo & Showergel Campus Campus Facilities Friendly & efficient staff @ Reception
No hot breakfast available in Pavilion bar Coffee & Scone X 2 €9.50 - expensive
Decent accomodations, clean, nice size rooms, beautiful campus with nice walking trails, quiet. Great for a family. Would stay there again.
A bit far from city centre but not too bad if you have a car. Didn't like my room being on the first floor.
Its a beautiful campus, quiet, clean, friendly environment...nice to have a large bed for a single accommodation and having a bathroom/shower in room was also nice. Cheaper than what I paid up in Galway and got so much more.
no wifi available in room...had to go to the pub which really was only a short walk away to get free wifi.
Easy access, good directions, comfort, the individual rooms and the on-suite facilities, great for groups and that we were all put on the one floor even though it was 2 individual bookings
Limited parking near the building
The University was so peaceful when we visited(August). Lovely walks around the campus, the Living Bridge is great with lovely views especially at sunset. The apartment itself was clean, rooms were spacious, beds comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful,
We liked everything really and were very satisfied Would definitely stay again provided the price does not increase.
If the apartment was for 4 there were literally 4 plates etc. There could have been extra as we had friends in another apartment and to come even for a cup of tea they had to bring their cup! Would have liked a couple of bigger pots hard to feed a family with small pots so had to cook in batches.Could really have used a microwave. The kitchen was quite small. However we could have asked for extra whatever we needed and my guess is that the staff would have provided with a smile.
The facilities themselves were adapted for a family with young kids
The apartment should have been cleaned better after university students left at the end of the semester (including the oldish carpet and lifting mattress).
Absolutely excellent - the staff (in particular the night warden) could not have been more helpful. Accomodation was fantastic - booked for 4 people and got 4 bedroom apartment with all double beds - it completely spoiled us and made our accomodation the following night seem like a very poor substitute. We will definitely be staying there again next summer when we hope to have more than one night in the Limerick area.
Comfort and location.
Housekeeping did nothing
Easy parking, lovely hot shower and very comfortable bed.
Nothing not to like
It had an area to sit and watch t.v., a kitchen for everything from coffee to dinner. Internet access in the room, shower was grand, quiet enough at night and was a brilliant location for the course I was doing in UL over three days.
