Food in the restaurant was top notch, best "scallops and crabmeat" starter in the universe. The bed was real comfy too.

We really liked the welcoming staff, the fact that there was a pub nearby with music in the evening, and above all the wonderful food.

Loved the food basket brought to our room, food was delicious and staff most accommodating

There is no separate entrance to B&B, or separate relaxing area. I would prefer a more private check in/ out, everything is carried out in the v busy bar.

Rooms were lovely and very up to date. bed was soo comfortable I could have stayed in bed all day. Ensuite was fantastic. Lovely basket of goodies delivered daily to the room with homemade cookies. Yummy! Breakfast was gorgeous..smoked salmon and cheeses and even a hot breakfast was served! Homemade yoghurt. Everything was brilliant! didn't want to leave :(

Our room was lovely and cozy--The restaurant was excellent (a little spendy). We went back to our room where we were greeted with cookies and coffee, tea, etc. Nice touch.

Comfortable room, right on top of an excellent restaurant. Liscannor Bay is a beautiful spot.

The view out of our window over the neighbouring backyard was an eyesore. But then I suppose you can't have everything.

The food was exceptional. We had our best nights sleep of a two week trip here.

The smell of cooking in the kitchen went through the bedrooms due to kitchen door left open, but it was good food.

Comfortable bed. Young chap behind the bar was helpful and friendly when I checked in.

No view. Poor wifi quality. Room a little tight. Not all staff were particularly friendly. Couldn't work out why it was so expensive ( nearly double the cost of nearby B&B establishments, with nice views).

Staff went that extra mile and we never once felt that we were putting them out of their way. While staying my partner organised with the staff to propose. They had everything organised perfectly and can't thank them enough. Made it very special for me. We most definitely will be back to Vaughan's Inn. Next time as Mr & Mrs! Thank you!!! p.s. food was excellent. Our first night we had the steak fillet and it is honestly the best meal I have ever had!!!

Everything was perfect. No complaints what so ever!

A pub with character. Friendly helpful staff, a truly magnificent breakfast, lovely little town with small pier. Outstanding restaurant. We enjoyed the best meal we have had in Ireland : succulent scallops and halibut presented beautifully with lovely sides.

The room and location was perfect and the bed was extremely comfortable. The was an average size but sufficient for our 2 night stay.

Vaughans is well known for it's restaurant. We had dinner the first night which we found v over priced with desserts also v expensive.

The people were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely as was breakfast.

I thought the price of the food was a bit much, the fish was nice but my chips were cold. I also would have ordered something else but the price was very expensive. Considering the dining area is in a "pub" I thought the prices were too high, I was sitting next to a table of people who were just having pints, which is all well and good but you are charging prices of a more refined dining experience. The room was €90 for 1 night, which was fine as it was a nice room and the breakfast was included which was delicious. I'm far from a tight arse also by the way. I would stay again due to the people and the place but would get dinner elsewhere. Only let down of the place but left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth - Pun intended!

Food - in particular the breakfasts. Bacon tasted as flavoursome as that remembered from childhood. The home made yoghurt was very tasty. The breakfast set you up for the day and we found that we did not need to eat again until evening dinner.

Steep steps to rooms. Small bedroom, and a mattress that was just a little too soft for us which left us with backaches. The popularity of the restaurant meant that there was no room to park outside the inn from lunch till the end of dinner at night. This was very inconvenient for disabled residents as no priority was given to those staying at the inn. The Anchor Inn is essentially a bar/restaurant with rooms above and prices charged were not commensurate with facilities provided. There are two hotels in addition to the Anchor Inn in Liscannor and they cost less to stay in than the former.
