Everything was great, we stayed there for the night, the hostess made us feel welcome straight away. Look forward to a great breakfast and a tasty strong coffee! Definitely recommend this B&B.

I highly highly recommend this B&B. It was cheaper than others in the area for some reason but, as regular B&B travellers, we found it to be the best we have ever stayed in. The owner was very kind and charming and the food was fantastic. I don't know how she improved on the classic Irish Breakfast but she did. Delicious. The rooms are very clean, with new furnishings but staying loyal to the classic setting of the building. All rooms look out into a placid lake. It's only a minute from Clifden but feels utterly secluded. Anyone driving around Connemara should stay here!

The quiet location beside the sea was lovely and Lygie, the hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. She provided a generous delicious assormant of Irish offerings for breakfast and was gracious and attnetive to all of her guests. The midgies were ferocious and prevented us from enjoying walks on the beach as we'd planned.

Its position and the lady we dealt with was very pleasant. Breakfast was good. Facilities were poor in the room and there seemed to be very little sound insulation making the room subject to a lot of noise.

We were informed that the water was brown but safe to use, they left a large bottle of water in the room for drinking that we also used for brushing teeth, etc. The bed had a bottom sheet and a comforter without a duvet. We prefer bedding with a top and bottom sheet.

The view is spectacular, and the host could not be nicer. It was delightful. If driving using a GPS, the B&B is located on a loop road. One end is easy but the other end of the loop is gorgeous but terrifying!

The Couple that run it speak French fluently and are charming. They made us most welcome and the house was in a spectacular situation in Connemara and we thought it was one of the best we stayed at in Ireland. The "Sky Road" is one of the most spectacular roads to drive, but it is worth knowing that it is a very 'long road' and they live at the other end of it so come in from the far end of the road to find the B+B.This was not explained in the information! The view from the house is amazing especially at sunset! It would have been perfect if there had been a small lounge to sit in.

Placed in very beautiful, very peaceful surroundings, a few minutes by car from Clifden. The view from the window- fantastic! Very friendly hosts, clean rooms, tastefuly decorated. Good value for money. If you like nature and calm, this place is perfect. Just a few little things. I would change the materasses, as they are not really comfortable. It would be good to improve the indications to the bb, as we couldn`t find the direction for 40, 50 minutes and we were a bit lost. It would be nice to have the facilities to make tea/coffee in a room. But as I said- these are only little things, and in general this place is great to stay.

On arriving met by owner who was really friendly and interested. The B & B was in a picturesque setting and very quiet and restful just what we were looking for. Food very well presented and you'd never leave hungry. The water was brown from the peat and not very hot.

Beautiful location on the water, room with lovley view. Lovley owner Lyndie, very welcoming, kind to our little boy. Gorgeous breakfast, plenty of food and a great cup of tea! Only one thing Towels. With penneys and dunnes selling them cheap as chips, a few fluffy Big towels would be nice.

Nothing much! The rroom was clean and the bed comfortable but the room was very cold. There was central heating but it wasn't turned on. A small electric heater was provided but the bathroom was like an iceberg. The overall ambiabce was unfriendly - when we asked for a glass for water in our bedroom, we were given paper cups. These was no sitting room. Oh! the piped water was off the bog hill-side and was brown. But there was a nice outlook over the bay.
